Think its ridiculous we are relying on Ayew at his age but you cant fault his effort and fitness levels in the second half. First half we were really, really poor. Needed some intensity. We were more direct second half and we won it, says it all.

Thats what happens when we just stick with Daka as Vardy's alternative for so long.  Ayew probably should be first choice up front at the moment.

Thought Ayew was poor to be honest. He holds on to the ball for far too long. Numerous times he was too busy trying to battle when he could get the ball out to the wide men much quicker. That it likely to cause us issues going forward.

We need more players holding on to the ball, dribbling etc.  Its a much better way to play than passing it around.

That late dribble so brilliant, also the one Fatawa did as well which ironically led to our first goal.

First game is always a bit hit and miss. But we got the result and that's it.

 

28 shots. Most this weekend. 

We should have scored more. El Khanouss basically had a sitter.

 

Could have Been 3 or 4. Charles made some good saves.We got the result and we move onto the next one.

Yeah that's what I thought. Made a lot of saves but a lot of those were efforts from distance, struck well enough but nowhere near the corners and not the sort of shots you would ever expect a keeper to concede. Even the close range one from El Khannouss was straight at him and I can only really think of Thomas and Daka who actually gave him much of a test.

There’s holding on to it, to bring other into play, and then holding on for it for too long. He needs to release it quicker than he is.

Can't believe how bad we were in that first half. That was really worrying. 

Fantastic choice to pull Skipp at half-time. Shows this Manager has no issues upsetting a player if need be. 

Monga looks crazy good! He could be worth a fortune in the future. 
Faes and Vesty are so unlikeable but they look so composed on the ball when we are in attack. 
Despite the win, I think we still need 3-4 starting players coming in. Striker, CM in place of Soumare, and a RB as Ricardo never fit and Justin looking flat.  

Hope we hold onto Bilal, but I can see someone coming in late for him. Would be a big loss and would mean we need an ACM as well.
