Much needed win. Would have been an awkward start to the season if not.

 

Odd performance from Ayew. Got us up the pitch well and good hold up play. But his shooting needs to be better. Gets it on target but he needs to make it harder for the GK. Just gave Charles catching practice. Quite greedy as well.

 

Winks did well. I have been very critical and if we could make a tidy profit on the PSR I’d be happy to sell. But he does clearly offer on the pitch at this level.

If only Daka's header had gone in (and I don't blame Daka, it was a good save) Jordan Ayew's run to set it up would have become the stuff of legend.

Cracking result was always going to be a difficult match given their circumstances. 
 

Fair play to Marti making changes when the 1st half didn’t go to plan, 27 efforts

on goal at least show we tried to create and be positive, however I think today also shows we desperately need a midfielder and striker as we have a massive Vardy and KDH sized hole in our team from last time in this division.

Why boo faes when he comes on and why boo him when he wins us the game? I get people don't like him but support the guy while he's on the pitch ffs. Makes you look simple

exacrly, we should have been out of site long before we scored the winner, and they made us all very nervous for the first 30 minutes. It should have been a much more comfortable win.

Dafuc. Two set piece goals.

Not super convincing, but 2nd half was much better than 1st half with Winks finally delivering some quality from midfield. Also helpeb by injuries and the dumbest red card to Wedensday. Weird being the dominant team again. Still lots of work.

Actually think fair play to him, why stay out to get abuse. He needs to facilitate a move best for everyone

He can do what he wants if he keeps putting in a shift and finding the correct net

Gave him plenty of slack last season, but honestly, Ayew looks a completely different player, his hold up and link up play was excellent again today.
