I think we’ll score late a lot of times this season - just like under Maresca. 
 

We desperately need a goal scorer though. 
 

Get Alves on the bench. Stephy, Fatawu and BEK were poor in large spells of this match. Alves covers all those positions.

NEW SPECIES DISPLAYED AT KING POWER

 

  

The “Giant Danish Ground Sloth” and “Belgian Shaggy” were on view at the King Power Donkey Show earlier today.

 

Morphologically, the Danish is midway between a giraffe and a donkey.  It combines a plodding gait with a complete lack of agility.  Unable to leave the ground, it can nonetheless head-butt the crossbar.  Bemused home fans were treated to the unlikely sight of this creature shinning the ball over the goal line.

 

The Belgian appeared a more athletic species, although unable to comprehend the instructions of its handlers.  It put another one across the line off its luxuriant curls.

 

Despite the largest display of full-blooded donkeys in many years, only these two were able to score.

Bit of a phew at the end, but based on the games from yesterday as bad as we looked in the 1st half i still think we looked better and will get auto promoted.

No game is really easy in this league especially when you come up against a team that had a lot against them already before a ball was kicked. Once they went 1-0 up was always going to be hard but 3 points is all that counts. Fatawu very very good. Winks played well when he came on and monga looked a threat when he came on. On we go

I'll forgive it as it's the first game and under unusual circumstances but we have to be much better than that. The first half was unacceptable

Not sure what Cifuentes said at half time but second half was much better with far more urgency compared with the lackadaisical first half.

 

Best half of football I’ve seen from Ayew. Really looked motivated.

 

Made hard work of it but it’s the result that counts.
