Both lads had serious injuries and some of our fans couldn’t understand why they didn’t shine as soon as they were back playing football. Of course they needed time. Hope they continue to do well this season really enjoy them

Said fans might also have assumed we would be playing in the Prem.

Alvez showed a lotta potential very early on in his career. He still can achieve that. Just needs to stay confident and hungry

Both had bad injuries a lot of players would not have come back from.

Looking forward to seeing  W.A. dropping a massive F-Bomb on live TV when the interviewer starts "So, Will ALV-EZZ.." and he turns around and verbally decks the interviewer... "IT'S PRONOUNCED ALVS LIKE F*****G VALVES, YOU DON'T SAY CALV-EZ WHEN YOU SEE A BABY COW DO YOU YOU C**T. SUCK ON IT".

Don't like him at all. As a proper Leicester boy, he should know. 

 

- He shouldn't be positive with his running 

- he shouldn't carry the ball forward 

- he shouldn't be scoring as a winger

- and he certainly shouldn't be that skilful. 

 

In seriousness, he has been absolutely brilliant for us.

What an awful club (well Rudkin anyway), not rating one of our best players and wanting to loan him out indefinitely until he leaves on a free.

 

I think if we had even an average DoF, we’d have seen a bit more of Bassey, Maswanhise, Nyoni and so on. Not saying they’d be mainstays but we’d have seen some minutes and then who knows, they cement a place or we get a better fee down the line.

It’s just so refreshing to watch a player attack their full back, I love how his first thought every time is to have a go at his fullback, and commit them to a 1v1.

 

I just hope he stays fit, because you can see the quality he possesses, last nights performance will do him the world of good!

If he keeps fit, this lad will shine this season along with Braybrook  Page and a few more of the youngsters. On last nights performance you could sense the beginnings of a decent side.

Yes I'm staggered what Martin eluded to in his post match interview about that. It could only have been Rudkin who said it. Wtaf.

We're doing the same with Evans and Riley Carr. 

 

Both far better players than Cullen and Burns but because they're from the academy they're always on the backfoot in terms of getting on the pitch for us.

 

Kevon Gray as well but at least our centre backs are performing at the moment.

In fairness, Russell says he ‘was told he might go out on loan’. Reason given was the last one wasnt a huge success. So just feels like a situation where the player has had to knuckle down and prove himself, which he has done with flying colours. If Alves was off it, we would all be complaining he should be out on loan. 
 

Martin does like these snippets of info, and they are all about making him look good.

Just checked a Watford cup game from a few years ago I was at, where a few younger players came on and I thought they did well. Thought it would be Braybrooke but it was Alves, MacAteer and Marçal, was good to watch and I thought they would go on to do well. Glad I was there 😊

Don't if anyone noticed, just before he got subbed, running down the left wing and beat his man, before the cross he kicked the ball down i think with his heel to slow it down / control it. I had seen him do it in some academy games but never in a senior match. 

 

I think he's got some tricks up his sleeve.......

They won't make 50 apps this season and likely sold if we don't get promotion:brendan:
