He's a bag of shit as a footballer. Literally the laughing stock of the premier league last year.

They had sections about how bad he was on match of the day.
Denis waterman considered writing (And singing) a theme tune for his comedy pratfalls leading to goals.

To say he is one of the best footballers in the Championship is simply not true. For 75 minutes of a game he may well be but he will always chuck in some absolute brainfarts (2 passes right their player and 1 comedy fall over), which will cost us against good teams, particularly if he is playing half heartedly as he will be if he doesn't get a move he wants.

And on that basis - i'm Wout.

Sorry  - Out

Hilde won’t like that

It wa sh1te before that too. I don't pretend Wout caused any of this. The rot had long set in. He was in the dug out watching us get thumped 5-2 by brighton not long before that. You know - the master class where Ward started yelling at Ndidi.

This was the game after which I was expecting rogers to be gone (and he shopuld have been gone). From the stands it was much much worse than anything you'd get from TV.

He's one of the best defenders at the club, certainly haven't seen anything from Okoli to think he's better. But his time has come to an end, fans aren't having him, and he should leave

One of those players who gets better in the eyes of the fans the less he plays. He's absolutely honking, poor positional awareness, lack of intelligence, zero composure.

Not only one of the worst defenders we've ever had but one of the worst things to happen to the club full stop. He's not just a clown, he's the whole circus.

Not good enough in the Prem, not good enough in the championship either. Reminder for those with short memories:

Try playing next to Vesty in the Prem.

He's clearly, obviously - and by a margin - our best defender. Not great by any means, but still out best.

Let's not forget he said he wanted to leave the club "at any cost" in the summer, and that's not the first time he's made these noises.

I can't read his mind, and wouldn't pretend to do so. "Quotes" from "representatives" don't change this. Sure he looks a bit moody. Bit of a RBF. Don't some of you at times?!

Just think the hardcore anti-Wouts on here are either blinded by irrational factors, or have *hilariously bad* ability to judge the relative merits of our players. Having sat in our crowd for many decades I know it's a combination of both ;-)

I'll leave it now, but this thread does give me a chuckle. Keep it going lads! FWIW if Wout doesn't leave I expect to see him in the starting line up post-haste.

And why has no other club been in for him?  He has wanted to leave since 2023.

So, @Clogger_, was that username chosen in tribute to your man Wout?

Faes has strengths.   They are undermined by his difficulties concentrating, reading the flight of the ball and making stupid mistakes.

When you think of Elliot, Walsh, Huth, Morgan, Evans, Maguire, even O'Neil and May, he is relatively poor.

For me he's kind of Amartey level

Amartey played within his limitations.
