Ok but equally, or actually probably far more likely, if they're saying he's shit, he's probably shit.

But equally, I don’t we can afford a player that plays in a Champions League Club that they think he’s brilliant 🤔 we’re always going to have to take a gamble at the moment so I just hope he’s not settled there and is the new Messi 😂

Looks powerful on the ball and gives his all , sounds like this is happening as the rumour noise around us and him is very loud.

I know Feyenoord is a champions league level club and we are a championship level club but we have a similar level of spending power to them and recently have been able to attract a similar level of talent to them.

There's no reason we should be buying up their failed transfers, if we were competently ran we would be shopping in the same market as them.

I think this would be true a few years ago. Now we have fallen I find it hard to believe any ambitious footballer would choose us over Feyenoord.

I think this fella seems worth taking a risk on. Great record in the mls (yes I know the standard) but does show he can contribute goals and assists.

Im not saying compete for the same players as we would probably lose out but just look in the same direction as Feyenoord are looking.

Although now I've looked at it they've signed 2 Portuguese league rejects, 2 upcoming talents from the Belgian league, 1 championship defender and mostly other talents from Eredivisie so maybe not as exotic as I expected. The players from the Portuguese league in particular look similar to our transfer strategy of paying more once they've failed elsewhere.

I hoot the club have done a bit more than look at stats for this player. The fans don’t rate him and he hasn’t scored many goals outside the USA. Ivanovic or Erabi sound more the profile I’d expect or do we simply have nothing to spend.

its not the disappointment. I can cope with that, it’s the hoot that kills you..

Loan with an option, I don’t mind this.

Not a great record at Feyenoord, but decent in MLS and seems the right “profile” of forward.

We missed the boat on centre forwards unless we plan on spending £10m+ which I just don’t see happening.

All theses names and nothing happening; its like the club doesn't have a clue who to get or probably left it to late to get anything done

Or that no-one is coming in and everyone's being sucked in by these clickbait merchants on Twitter circulating unfounded nonsense.

They are gonna replace him with Vardy lol

Good for Vardy

It seems like this is close to a done deal and a loan with option (which is perfect, as low risk!).

Let’s not moan about it because of his goal record at Feyenoord where he’s been 3rd choice striker at best. If you look at his MLS highlights he knows where the back of the net is and by all accounts he’s a pressing monster which is what we require in this system.

who says he is the only striker we are targeting. If we can somehow grab a big physical (and mobile) striker too then we are set (Kone would have been great, let’s see if Leeds will loan us Piroe)

This guys like the polar opposite of Daka.

Get him in.

Well, his scoring record is tripe - so they have that in common.

Nonethless I like his jawline so let's get it done.

Is it a loan with option/obligation or is it a permanent deal?

“Julián Carranza & Leicester City: 𝗜𝘁’𝗦 𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚! Personal agreement and club-club agreement have just been reached. #Feyenoord is loaning out the Argentine striker for one season. Leicester has negotiated a purchase option. Feyenoord was still moving the market this morning to snap up Jamie Vardy. The free agent striker has an offer in hand.”

Ahh our first Argentine!
