All theses names and nothing happening; its like the club doesn't have a clue who to get or probably left it to late to get anything done

It's the usual "look! We're trying to sign someone" to be followed by "we couldn't agree a deal in time". It almost seems deliberate!

He'd be our first Jewish player..

Nothing wrong with that as long as he's not a Zionist.

Ok but equally, or actually probably far more likely, if they're saying he's shit, he's probably shit.

I'm with this. If he was half decent but just not cut it for champions league, that is different to them basically saying he's trumpity trump

Tbf they are a Champions league level club so their standards are a lot higher. If they rated him he wouldnt be joining us

We also would have said the same about vardy after his first season. Theres enough stats that make me think he’s worth a punt

We had plenty of shouts that we should sign Agyemang before derby swooped. He’s a year younger but only managed 18 goals in 63 games in the mls, compared to

this guy getting 35 in 79. And this guy actually contributed with assists as well.

He’s dropped from a goal every 2 games to a goal every 4 and that’s not so bad for an out of favour player.

We’re lucky if daka is more than 2 goals a season and ayew would be lucky to hit 10.

Marti demands more from his forwards than just scoring and I think if they are confident this guy can meet the other required metrics then I’m not worried about how many goals he’d actually hit. I think we’ll love him. he’s an Argentinian Ian hume lol

to be fair, it was only me. However, he’s joined Derby and is now dead to me.

As I posted on the Twitter thread, going off some comments he seems to be a workrate machine, who will help out on the defensive end, those comments coincide with his defensive statistics.

We are crying out for a striker who can press, he could well be the right fit in that regard.

Daka can press, it's scoring that's his problem.

The same old story , wait to the last minute, then tell us the transfer fell though , we have known for months that we need a striker and a class midfielder, and what have they done jack shit all

I hoot the club have done a bit more than look at stats for this player. The fans don’t rate him and he hasn’t scored many goals outside the USA. Ivanovic or Erabi sound more the profile I’d expect or do we simply have nothing to spend.

If we sign this bloke we will have three strikers on the books who, combined, cover almost every key attribute you'd want in a 9.  Other than being able score.

Being able to score is an overrated attribute. Who cares if your forward players can score a goal?

I know Feyenoord is a champions league level club and we are a championship level club but we have a similar level of spending power to them and recently have been able to attract a similar level of talent to them.

There's no reason we should be buying up their failed transfers, if we were competently ran we would be shopping in the same market as them.
