I don’t get the praise for Rudkin, he’s just about clearing up his own mess.

It’s been a successful transfer window, if you consider a successful shit, just about managing to peel off your diarrhoea filled pants and smearing the leftovers around your buttocks with what’s left of the toilet roll.

Sammy Braybrooke (Newport - loan)

I'd give it a 7 out of 10.

Midfield is strengthened and a much-needed striker is signed which means less of Ayew in that lone forward role.

Keeping the likes of Fatawu, Monga, Page, Mavididi is probably just as important as whoever we bought/sold.

Perhaps still more to come but overall it's not too bad. Shame we haven't been able to sell other deadwood but it's very much a good start with who we have shipped out this summer, and with all the income received...

Haven't you missed someone important from your outgoing list? (JV9)

I would say it's a 7/10. We have sold some players that were overpaid and not performing to what they were paid, a good keeper who was replaceable, a talented player who didn't want to be here and a winger whose skills weren't really what the manager wants. We have strengthen positions that needed strengthening, Jordan James adds a bit of steel and energy to the midfield, Aaron Ramsey is a talented player if he stays fit and Carranza is a striker who may be able to scroe goals, although we will have to wait and see.

Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart - loan) poor price given what other players have moved for at similar clubs

Mads Hermansen (West Ham) poor price, given what most thought he would go for prior to bids

Kasey McAteer (Ipswich) great deal

Woyo Coulibaly (Sassuolo - loan) shit signing

James Justin (Leeds) fairly low price

Wilfred Ndidi (Besiktas) 6m done well to get anything after he could’ve left for free last season.

Conor Coady (Wrexham) terrible signing in the first place £7.5m received 2m

Daniel Iversen (Preston) should’ve been sold when offers where received

About 4/10

because of kasey and ndidi

Pretty much

And incomings are hardly encouraging

Winks, soumare and faes are still here.

No permanent incomings, bar begovic.

Pleased by the James signing, but I feel a lookman situation coming next summer and not taking the option.

It could have been a lot worse, but I don't think Rudkin has done anything special

4/10 - Incredibly poor window in historic terms, nearly £80m raised and not a penny spent!

unfathomable 4 years ago, but we are where we are! Good window for PSR and re setting this club, another big summer next year when the last of the high earners drop off the wage bill! In think 2026 we see the real re set, we’ve signed proven championship players that won’t cut it in the PL on loan deals, so that’s sensible!

let’s see what the season brings

Given our financial problems that 'may' be looming, getting players out was a priority.

OK it would have been good to get some more in comings but it is what is now until January.

Now it's up to MC to work with what we got. Best of Luck to him.

I’m glad we got some players out for decent money to help balance the books and brought some fresh blood in, who on paper should be decent in the championship.

Just find it depressing how far we have fallen so fast that we can’t pay even a transfer fee for anyone.

I can’t muster any excitement about much around the club at the minute.

People giving it a 9/10, almost the perfect window lol

We got decent money for players we didn't expect to, but slightly less money for players we ideally would keep if all was well.

Didn't spend a penny on incomings, but have brought in what look like some decent loanees.

5/10

We needed to trim the squad and bring down the wage bill, which we have finally been able to do to a large extent.

However, this also means we have to rebuild the squad value and create new assets, which I am not sure we are capable of doing with our current staff.

The inbound loans address areas where we definitely needed competition/cover, so I am relieved in that sense.

Our start to the season has been good result-wise and maybe, just maybe, Cifuentes can use these new loans and our academy products to build a promising team that has something to fight for at the end of the season.

6/10 from me.

The squad size has been largely corrected.

Wage bill much lower.

Fringe players moved one - yes in hindsight it was a load of terrible signings we overpaid for but at least a lot of them have gone.

Interesting to see how we manage Winks and Faes now they are here to stay.

it’s a good window after a very poor window last year.

I think you have to score it based on the context of the mess we have created for ourselves.

Obviously its unbelievable that we are in this position and pretty much unforgivable. But when you add the context of where we are right now, I think its been decent and is heading in the right direction.

Solid 7.5/10.

You can talk all you want about the fact we should never have been in the position we were and you would be right but the reality is that we were and I feel the club done what it had to do to get us out of it.

We have gotten ourselves on the right side of PSR (this season at least) by not only bringing in close to £60m in transfers but also MASSIVELY cut our wage bill (surely by around £25m+ anything year) with it also due to reduce substantially at the end of the season with the contract of Winks/Soumare/Daka and Ayew expiring. That lot leaving on top of the money for Bilal coming in next year has already given is a headstart on beating FFP next year too.

We signed 4 players, all in the most pressing positions that we needed, who hopefully will improve us on the pitch but if they don't, we are not tied to any of them but have the potential to make them permanent if they are successful. We also done this without spending any substantial amount of money (outside loan fees)

On the negative side, we all know there are players still here who aren't good enough like BDCR, Soumare etc and players who don't want to be here like Winks and Faes but at least the latter two HAVE already contributed to our season and will be interesting to see how their attitudes are going forward now the transfer window has closed. If they want to get a decent move next year, they are going to have to play for it and that will require them getting their heads down.

Im honestly pretty happy. We are stronger as a club now than we were when the window opened. Not least OFF the pitch.

Keeping Fatawu, Mavididi, Monga, Page means we have more go forward than 14 or 15 of the champ teams.

James and Ramsey add quality. Both very well thought of and have commanded £18m in transfer fees.

The season might depend on if Cifuentes can motivate Faes, Kristiansen and Winks and if Carranza suddenly decides he is Joel Piroe.

9 solid years in the prem, 10 out of 12 seasons. By the 12th season we can’t afford/ manage to sign anyone because of how the finances have been managed.

How are those in charge rewarded for such failure

Out's 8/10

In's hard to judge as we brought in players i have no clue are good or bad Lol.. Only one i even heard of was the Ramsey one.

Could be 5/10 could be 10/10 depends how they do in 6 months..

Maybe too soon to judge the in's but overall i'd go with a 7/10

7/10.

More so for the transfer fees and wages off the books.

But 3 exciting loan signings with the potential of them continuing here without us spending too much before we’ve properly seen whether they fit in here or not is just what we have needed after the last few seasons shambles.
