Random bit of insight into this one. Aaron was a client of Chef Jonny Marsh who does private cooking for footballers in the north west, he’s a bit of a social media personality too. 
 

Just posted a video saying “Friday was my last day with Aaron”

 

Guess it just goes to show transfers aren’t as last minute as they seem sometimes, even if they’re announced at the very last second after a deadline shuts lol

Exactly. I admit I wasn’t expecting to be feel buzzing at the window close but these two are just the sort of business that make sense in our current position. A fair amount of tidying up the squad has been done and that should set us on a more manageable PSR pathway. I hope we give Julian a fair shot in the team and don’t judge him until we have seen what he can add to the team. If Ramsay can get back to full fitness he is a great addition. James is less of a punt and is a great signing too. Just what we need.

They almost certainly weren't last minute things. JJ admitted in his interview that he'd been waiting for this to happen for a while. So assuming we needed Bilal's transfer to go through and then we could go ahead. Guess we held out for more on Bilal so hence the apparent rush on deadline day.

 

Allowed us to get two important positions covered, I especially like the profile of JJ as a player, here's hoping he can grow as a player. And Ramsey if he stays injury free will be exciting to watch.

Not the same way I did for Kyle Naughton or Waghorn lol

 

I think maybe it’s because it was common knowledge we had the right to buy him should we decide to?

I mean apart from him getting a 12 month + injury and them blowing the play off final, that plan went perfectly to be fair!
