Can't wait to see the back of him even if we do make playoffs. I don't think you need to worry about that last bit (with you on the first point)

Popular Post Wink84 Posted 10 January Popular Post Posted 10 January There was absolutely no reason to bring on Ayew. We weren't holding on and relying on an experienced players to see the game out. If he can't give minutes to a promising forward in such circumstances when were crying out for a good striker. You seriously have to question him, even if your not Marti out. 8
AjcW Posted 10 January Posted 10 January Like that crusty bit at the end of a chorizo ring after you put it back in the fridge and forget to wrap it…..
Number 6 Posted 10 January Posted 10 January Ayew sub suggests Marti thinks he is under pressure to me. Poor decision; a confident manager doesn't make it. 2
Claudio Fannieri Posted 10 January Posted 10 January There was a report via BBC that Marti was still under pressure despite the West Brom victory as the performance had been so poor not sure this will have done much to alleviate the scrutiny. A bad result and performance next week and in think he is gone.

Spudulike Posted 10 January Posted 10 January I would like Cifuentes to stay long enough for Martin to get employment elsewhere. 2
markko Posted 10 January Posted 10 January Some balance here. Cooper was here for five minutes and if any of you think Ruud was better then Cooper or Marti, well I disagree. Ruud was a terrible manager IMO. I said when Cooper went be careful what you wish for and I will say it again. Marti has had no money and poor squad to work with full of want aways and overpaid rubbish. We are where we deserve to be and I don't think anyone would do much better. 2
Rubbersoul Posted 10 January Posted 10 January (edited) I’m not gonna lose my shit just because Evans didn’t get on but i find it disappointing. Perfect chance for him to get 20 minutes. We didn’t need to see Ayew plod around. Edited 10 January by Rubbersoul 1

Not just that, the further we slip the harder it is to attract the best talented youngsters. They will want to go to the other localish clubs that are doing well. So there needs to be recent examples of good young players that have flourished and either cemented their first team place or earned lucrative moves. 1

BKLFox Posted 10 January Posted 10 January Easy to blame the manager after the event and let the players off the hook in what was a pretty laboured game overall. If they had been on it in the 1st half and we’d gone 3 up then there was a very good chance we see Evans. We are very fragile and had we gone 1:2 I’m not sure it would have been as comfortable as some are making out. Im just as disappointed at not seeing Evans but I’m sure if he’d gone gung’ho and emptied all the young lads off the bench and we’d conceded / lost im sure there would be as many Marti out posts. We needed a win & clean sheet more than we needed to see a teenager for 10mins I wonder what the palace forum is like currently? 1

No but look at the hype surrounding Monga last season, he looked a talent. He has seemed to regress in the division below. The manager has to take accountability for some of that. 1

Not sure how you habe come to that conclusion by what I've said. Firstly today was a cup game, a cup we are never going to win with the current squad. It only purpose is to give players minutes. We have to stop dealing in the currency that only today matters, short term thinking has got us in this mess. Highly unlikely this squad with this manager is going to be anywhere near the promotion picture. We need to be rebuilding, planing for the future. 1
Fear Of The Fox Posted 10 January Posted 10 January Regarding Ayew, don't forget that we don't know what kind of contract clauses the players managers have forced to the incompetent board.

Never said it wasn't? We have no idea whats happening behind the scenes with him or others. He could be injured. Could be stalling the club. He could just not be being picked. But no, let's just use it as another stick to beat Marti with. Marti has enough problems to try and sort and we as fans have no idea whats going on so its best to just keep quiet and think critically rather than just coming out with nonsense.

We’ve created 2 xG once all season. 10 man, unpaid, unfit Wednesday on opening day. 3 1

He’s got plenty of time but he’ll have ups and downs. He’s was never going to hay tear up the Championshp like Messi.

Just because one player hasn't got on (imo he should have subbed him instead of Ayew) doesn't mean we are not doing it,. 1

We have no strikers contracted into next season, maybe give the one long term option a go? Just 20 minutes? Easier to obfuscate and side with club though.

Why is he on the bench if injured? What's he stalling on his just signed a new current. Bring players though players is part of his job. 1
