I don’t think the problem is how the players implement his training methods and approach to the game but more that they fail to do so which is of course a problem in itself. His presentation in the technical box and his post match comments make me think that he wants the team to be more positive and cut out the schoolboy mistakes. He just doesn’t have the luxury of a strong squad to make any material difference in quality or character by bringing in replacements for sub standard performers

Think you’re right, he might want the team to be more positive but hasn’t got good enough players to implement the system he wants - so he has to adapt which he’s completely failed to do. Good leaders make the whole better than the sum of the parts. This goon is making us materially worse.

I am largely agnostic about Marti, but I'd give just about anything - body parts and family members included - to change things up in our stands

When things are such a mess off the pitch, you need someone who knows what they're doing when it comes to what goes on on it. Marti is making a dire situation even worse.

as bad as RVN was, i think he'd have done a dam sight better than MC has,

 

we havent had one full good performance all season, we had what 70mins against Ipswich, so i guess if you really wanna clutch at straws you could say 1

 

which isnt good enough, half the season is gone and we've been a ****ing embarrassment for most of it, how can anyone defend MC?

i know the players deserve the blame too but dam MC has shown hes out of his depth

Its heartbreaking what the ownership, his team, the management, this squad of players and the clapping want and are doing to my club. It’s just sad now. 
 

We can’t even muster up a continuous chant to fight back. 
 

There isn’t an argument. There wasn’t one post Sheff U and the collapse. Any serious and proper football club would’ve got rid of him. We have no plan, no idea. 
 

He’s won because he is 5’3 and has convinced a ridiculous large part of the fan base with a smile that he is a good person. I don’t if it’s because they think he is cute little person if they are mesmerised by his smile but a proper football club ? You know a proper football club would’ve hounded or at least started to hound this bastard out. Cifeuntes is just a nice talking numpty.

Game by game you see him ranting on the touchline like they're going against his well-laid plans but no-one has seen the plans be anything different than slow paced build up, aimless passing/high ball to Ayew, lose it - repeat. 

 

We're not a possession team - because we can't pass well enough. We're not a pressing team - because we have no mobilty or organisation. We're not a counter-attacking team - because there's no-one worse than us at soaking up pressure or breaking away.

 

We're a poor side but 90% of this shockingly low-grade league is poor. I just don't see Cifuentes getting that extra few % out of players that all good managers do to get the bang average rubbish they're managing into the top 6

I dont disagree in general point, but don't forget RVN never had a good 90 mins either. In fact, did we even have a good 20 min spell under him? Let's not revise just how shit he was.

But you are right Joe :( For me the *worst* aspect of many, many bad aspects of our club is our insipid zero-passion fanbase (*with honourable exceptions - you know who you are!)

When I saw some supporters clapping off the players at QPR it became abundantly clear that there’s no ****ing hope.
