Phil It's hard not to get carried away with yourself when you idolise and aspire to be an entrepreneurial genius like Ian Beale.
Phil Mitchell Posted 31 January Posted 31 January If it’s Martin. **** me watch what happens. I’ve done some iffy things in my time but seeing that Lego head walk into seagrave will send me over the edge. Phil 2

Got no confidence they'll get something sorted quickly. Quickly and LCFC don’t go together never have, never will, not pessimistic it’s just reality of who we are driven by negligence !! 1

UniFox21 Posted 31 January Posted 31 January Clear to see they've hit the panic button. 3 or 4 transfer rumours circulating and Enzo panic button pressed. 1

lfu Posted 31 January Posted 31 January This time tomorrow: "EXCLUSIVE: Leicester City reach out to former manager Claudio Ranieri to make stunning return to Championship strugglers"
Finnegan Posted 31 January Posted 31 January Enzo Maresca is a hell of a smoke screen for Russell Martin. 1 1
Mickyblueeyes Posted 31 January Posted 31 January If he wanted to make it a little bit more realistic it would’ve been far better to have released a rumour about the club pursuing Ranieri or Nige. This is bonkers
Rubbersoul Posted 31 January Posted 31 January Quite surprised there hasn’t been a “credible” link to rainieri
Popular Post Corky Posted 31 January Popular Post Posted 31 January He basically walked out of a Champions League job with some of the most exciting young players in Europe. I can see a Championship relegation battle with an awful squad and virtually no transfer money being really appealing. 6

Enzo would be stupid to come back, he's built himself a decent reputation since leaving Leicester. Won a europa conference league, won the club world cup. Not exactly treated well by supporters.

What I would say is that if anyone in the hierarchy has even the slightest ear to the ground (implausible as that may seem), there has never been a bigger opposition to a potential appointment than Russell Martin. Even to the point that it's been bemoaned even when we weren't looking for a manager.

Leicesterpool Posted 31 January Posted 31 January Enzo not been approached lazy journalism, Russell Martin been approached again though he's next keen on the job and mucking us about again. Thats all i think the club have done in the last week. Itll be a panic appointment a bit like when Cooper, Deano and Marti were appointed.
CloudFox Posted 31 January Posted 31 January The thing that really irritates me about this "story" is that even though I know there is a) no chance this could have happened and b) if it has Maresca would rightfully tell Rudkin he has the wrong number...a teeny, tiny part of my brain is desperate enough to start contemplating the "what ifs" before I have a chance to squash it. And that way, madness lies.
