Perhaps no experienced manager wants the job. We are hardly an attractive proposition at the moment & everyone connected with football knows the problems - complete shambles of a club, toxic atmosphere, loads of the players don't want to be here, no money to spend, owner is a buffoon & DOF incompetent, massive rebuild required in the summer, probably going to get relegated.

Why would any experienced manager want to take on all those problems

How Russell Martin still gets jobs is beyond me. Universally disliked, and Swansea fans were no fans of him either. Finished 4th in a two-horse race thanks to their dreadful keeper Bazunu getting injured -who, naturally, we’ll be signing next.

This thread has been fun today. Pretty much 'hot' all day.

We've had Rowett, Skubala, Gerard, Martin, and now Smith all nailed on at some point, yet despite a gazillion posts none of us have a clue.

Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings :celebrate:

I’d like Dean Smith. He knows the time of day, has a good championship record and would like to rectify the prem relegation, which I don’t blame home for. I’m sure he would have got us promoted too with that Maresca team.

Thank god for that

Turning into the I'm a celebrity voting.

Russ... "It's not going to be you"

Michael.... "It's not you"

Gary.... "it might be you"

Gus... "it's not going to be you"

Deano... "that means it might be you"

If honest, won't surprise me the bookies are looking on here for their sources. Don't think they have clue who we are going for.

Im a Leicester manager get me out of here

Perhaps we should just do something radical and not have a manager anymore

Hey… we’ve been trailblazing in that regard already this season by not having a striker

Ignore the odds.

Big Nige has come in from 25/1 to 16/1 and I was getting ready to walk barefooted to Leicester with a candle but then realised most bookmakers have closed the markets leaving just very short odds with all managers from one remaining bookmaker.

One thing that surprised me with Dean Smith was the attacking setup he employed.

Always had him has being quite cautious but some of those games he managed we were bordering on gung-ho.

Or we go one better and have Ayew and Daka as joint managers until the end of the season.

The 4-2-4 against Wolves was superb!

Tielemans and Soumare as the 2 if I remember right

Vardy, Daka, Iheanacho and Tete as the front 4 😆😆

That might be worth a shot.

Surely law of averages suggests that they must be good at something
