damolcfc Posted 12 February Posted 12 February Yeah 31 shots , most of which ended up in the river 😉 That was very hit n hope, against wolves .... Even we might scrape a draw with wolves, I'm even sticking my neck out on a clean sheer. Forest took 2 corners that went out of play, that's school football 😉

nnfox Posted 12 February Posted 12 February Sean Dyche will not come here. There's been several times over the past 5 or 6 years where Dyche could have been a LCFC manager. A lot on here turned their noses up to that prospect, now he gets to turn his nose up at us. That's hard far and fast we've fallen.  In the summer it sounds like we spoke to him but couldn't afford his wages. And that was when we were one of the favourites for promotion. Now we still can't afford his wages and we're on the brink of relegation to League One.  Dyche is an established Premier League manager and whilst he might be short of options right now for a Premier League return, I could see him being tempted with a top Championship club where promotion in his first season would be a reasonable assumption. But us? Right now? No way! He has a reputation to protect and even if we could meet his salary demands I can't imagine he'd want to come here with a risk of a Championship relegation to blight his CV.  He'll be happy to wait until summer and assess his options then. 2
ian__marshall Posted 12 February Posted 12 February If he's available we 100% have to do everything possible to bring him in. I think he'd be a great fit for our club even more so with where we find ourselves. I just hope the 'he's ex-foest mob' that made Cooper's tenure virtually impossible give this one half a chance.Â

Maybe, or he’ll be here next week.
Jon the Hat Posted 12 February Posted 12 February I would think Frank needs a few months off to recover from Spurs, but I could see Dyche taking a role fairly quickly. I just doubt it has anything to do with us.
LCFCJohn Posted 12 February Posted 12 February I’d definitely take Dyche but it’s not going to happen. Amusing people still tuning their noses up given our predicament though!  He is above us now and that is the sad truth. Even if he was inclined, he’s been sacked by Forest last night! He isn’t going to turn up in another job within a few days. 2
Popular Post trooky Posted 12 February Popular Post Posted 12 February (edited) ****ing ridiculous this, Top should have kept Cifuentes untill he had a replacement ready to start the next game.  Instead we waste 3 games and 9 points on Kingy.  Criminal mismanagement as usual. Edited 12 February by trooky 6
FoxesWalk Posted 12 February Posted 12 February (edited) I’d take Dyche all day long, but very low chance he would be interested. Look at us. Edited 12 February by FoxesWalk 1
koop. Posted 12 February Posted 12 February Dyche is exactly the kind of manager we need right now, he would fire a rocket up these melts we have in the team, but i am unsure he is insane enough to want to 1
Raj Posted 12 February Posted 12 February (edited) Dyche didnt come here when we were decent. He wouldn't touch us with a bargepole. He knows Rudkins a cvnt Edited 12 February by Raj 2 1

fox_favourite Posted 12 February Posted 12 February I think Dyche will end up back at Burnley to be honest. Let's not delude ourselves like Top. He is out of our reach now along with Frank, Enzo and well, anyoneÂ
Claudio Fannieri Posted 12 February Posted 12 February I am not so sure Dyche will get another gig with a premier league club, I think he has come to the end of his shelf life. Whilst he would be ideal for us in our current mess I just can’t see it happening for a couple of reasons, firstly I can’t see him wanting to work for Aiyawatt and Rudkin and secondly no way they employ a manager like him who would hold them to account and challenge the current dogshit culture. 1

Let me introduce you to his striker signing Ayew and his great deal for Skipp, don't forget his tactical mastermind playing Fatawu as a wing back and leaving JJ as RB, RW and ARW all at the same time. Forest link is nothing to do with it for the 1000000 time. He was wrong person at the wrong time.  If we had an issue with ex forest explain Morgan and O'Neill. Edited 12 February by fox_favourite 3
Stevosevic Posted 12 February Posted 12 February He’s not going to walk in to another club the day after being sacked. 1

His response to the increasing threat from Southampton the other evening, should rule him out as a long term solution.
Drain the Swamp Posted 12 February Posted 12 February (edited) I'm torn on Dyche, even if he would come here. Which I doubt.  Yes, we'd show a lot more fight and probably do so overnight. He'd absolutely achieve the short-term goal of keeping us in the Championship this season. The problem is that I suspect he'd keep us in it for some time to come as well, because I'm not sure he's the project manager the club needs to completely and utterly rebuild a destroyed team.  We need a forward-thinking manager who'll get us playing aggressively from the off, bring in our tranche of talented youngsters and find hungry bargains in the transfer market. Hassenhutl, yes. Skubala, yes. Dyche? He'd cost considerably more than both and I'm not sure he's as close a fit as either. I worry he'd smack of short-termism. Everyone who knew of Dyche thought he'd thrive at Forest with his past there, probably the best squad he'd ever worked with after some fairly modest ones at Burnley and then-skint Everton and it's ended similarly to how his team at Goodison ended. Edited 12 February by Drain the Swamp 1

Cropwellfox Posted 12 February Posted 12 February Dyche Stone and Woan may be up for a deal to the summer. Quicker for Woan to drive into Seagrave than the Forest training ground from where he lives. They’ve only been back in work for 4 months. 3 month contracts with a bonus for avoiding relegation then reassess. We stay up they may be up for a rebuild we go down there’s no damage to their reputation as there’s already the narrative this is on the players and ownership. if we don’t at least try then the club deserves exactly what’s coming Â
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 12 February Posted 12 February No way Dyche comes unless we have world class gravel at Seagrave that he can lubricate his throat with 1

The whole world smiles Posted 12 February Posted 12 February People ruling out dyche are not factoring in that his stock has fallen too has done a pretty rubbish at his last two clubs now. yeah Managing city isn't as appealing as it was but also his reputation isn't as high as it was could be our downwards arcs intersect at the right time.Â
Pliskin Posted 12 February Posted 12 February Again, Dyche is out of our league now…. He will not come here, why the **** would he? He’s not an idiot and probably not THAT desperate. 1
