He’s likely to come back as well. Sure he’s only out on loan

Coulibaly? - I'd forgotten all about him, lol!

Didn't want Thai owners not happy with it. Had to eat humble pie gladly under Vichai. Now have what I expected corrupt useless owner. I know Swansea and Liverpool fans and didn't want Rodgers. So probably when we got Rodgers. Yes we won the cup but fvcked up twice for Top 4 with Rodgers going keep ball at the end of both seasons when on decent runs.

So once Vichai had gone. RIP Boss

To ad Vichai would probably have took Rodgers. But once he started his games putting everyone else down Vichai would have fvcked him off whatever was going on. Rudkin would be gone after his fvck ups that Vichai would not have stood by.

We also would not have some corrupt shite shirt sponsor.

Keeping Rodgers way too long was the start, but it could have been recovered… When we sold Enzo and KDH after promotion it was entirely inevitable

Yep, in many regards we'd have been better taking the points deduction hit last season and keeping both if possible rather than Chelsea taking both - seeing how the season turned out anyway (disastrous!), all without any FFP points deductions!

This was absolutely the pivotal moment.

Make the right call here and things are very different now.

Yeah this for me. There was serious talk of an approach for Unai Emery when it was already too late. How different it could have been.

It’s a good question. Honest answer is, the moment we bottle 4th place second season on the trot. I said it then that we would see a rapid decline, and we have. Enzo did all he could. Had he stayed we’d of still been relegated last season. Fundamentals at the club are all wrong. We have further to fall I’m afraid. Was nice while it lasted.

To quote James, "if I hadn't seen such riches I could live with being poor".

Forest away in the cup was the sliding doors moment - Rodgers needed to be sacked then and a line drawn in the sand.

The Enzo season apart then we pretty much have 'sat down' ever since!

That line goes round and round in my head too.

I've gone for Rodgers not being sacked far, far sooner as the start.

Also, signing half the defence of a team you've thrashed 9-0 at their place, wasn't a good move and, more recently, hiring a coach of a team you still managed to beat 6-0, despite being in the middle of a terrible run ourselves.

I must admit, Ive gone through all the stages of grief with this club but right now its just empty nothingness.

There was always the feeling that we could make the right decisions and get back on track, Enzo briefly made me believe we could still achieve it. But right now, I think it’s time to accept, it’s over.  There’s no bounce, no recovery, this is now a complete scrap and start again scenario.

when did you truly know it was over for us?  Because I can’t be the only one that this feels like that final moment of hope is gone?

I’ve steadily lost interest with the club (and football in general) but the starting point of my declining interest was the year after we won the prem, when I saw our heroic and miraculous title winning players, could no longer be arsed, to the extent that relegation looked likely before Claudio’s sacking.

What made that worse, although it was great in other ways, was the effort they were able to put into our Champions League run. Point being that players who were very capable, just couldn’t be bothered, and I’d argue that’s been most of this club’s problem ever since then - capable people that just aren’t trying hard enough, and simply don’t care.

People in the stands clapping the team right now

its over

I couldn't believe that. Literally watched 90+ minutes of an abysmal performance against a team threatened with relegation, and still happy-clapped them as the players were forced to walk round the pitch. Some of these so called fans are utterly spineless.

Edit: Forgot to add my own personal feelings, ranting about the above got in the way.

I've been a season ticket holder since 2011. Very nearly cancelled it in the summer, but decided against it as I thought it couldn't possibly get any worse. How naive. This campaign, kept afloat by goalscoring midfielders, has been depressing. I missed three games in a row for wedding-related reasons in one way or another, and I'm honestly not bothered anymore. This season could well be my last, and I may even try a hand at Tigers and see what happens there. This club is no longer becoming worth my time or money if they don't care about me or the fans.

In terms of today, as soon as the same side emerged from half time, I couldn't see the afternoon getting any better. No changes in tactics, mentality or personnel, and so that proved to be the downfall today.

I rarely went to a game from the turn of the year last season, I’m not going on Tuesday and am elsewhere for the Stoke game. I missed Portsmouth because I went to the Tigers and couldn’t be bothered to hang around. I was at a gig for the Birmingham game. I’ve missed more games than I’ve been to recently.

My life has been pretty full on personally for the last few years, I do feel stressed at times, but going down the City used to be a relief but sitting in traffic, parking miles away, watching awful performances just doesn’t improve my mood.

I go to gigs and concerts and I have a good time. I can’t see myself going another game until they offer a lot more than what’s currently being produced.

Same. What I pay for a gig is about what I'd pay for City but I'm guaranteed fun for 2 hours, rather than what I'm served up at the ground.

If it didn't cost the best part of £45 you can stomach it but 2 hour drive each way, plus cost, plus drab performance. I can pay a tenner and watch my local non league get demolished but at least I know it's paying to keep the lights on and for some lads to be able to play.

If it was £15-20 at KP, I'd have no problem justifying it.

For some reason a moment that always comes to mind for me is Rodgers bringing on Lewis Brunt at left back in the 22/23 loss at Forest - symbolic of a manager and ownership who had given up even pretending to care

The signings following the 2016 title win were poor but you can forgive that to an extent. It was a completely unexpected position so it’s understandable that we hadn’t planned for that.

For me the realisation came as Rodgers was allowed to get away with everything he did. Then when he was finally let go it was at a point where I’d have made him go down with the sinking ship. It really made me question the owners nous.

The Enzo era was a momentary reprieve in the downward spiral.

Top has annoyed me for a while. He and his family are very happy to take all the plaudits when there’s a trophy to show off with. Yet we hear nothing when we really need his leadership. I don’t hate him, I think he’s a decent man and there’s far worse owners. But I’m glad the larger fanbase is finally beginning to realise this decline is a result of us rotting from the Top.

Report him to the police. I'd imagine he has unsavoury things on his laptop!
