Just think Marti is missing a massive trick not putting Ricardo into midfield. He showed how good he was there under Maresca. Wasted further back at this level

Why speak on subjects you dont know about?

 

Aluko made his professional debut for us at left back and played most of last season in the u21s at left back. He was also originally scouted for our youth teams as a left back.

 

It's only this season where he has been moved out to the right.

I shall go tomorrow fully expecting us to get royally obliterated!

 

My only hope is that this will be the final straw and we see some real change moving forward!  I highly suspect that this will not be the case though. 

 

We have seen a whole season of this style of football (if you can call it that).. surely its time for wholesale changes??

You're missing the point. Faes, Thomas, VK, Soumare, Daka etc have stunk the place out for so long that we need to inject youth and something different. No one is saying they are saviours and that they will even be good enough but we cannot be any worse currently and the very least they will have passion and effort which we are lacking at the moment.

Go on Marti  put your money where your mouth is when spouting off about giving youth a chance and actually do it.  And do a  swap for everyone listed above and someone new

Can't see anything but a defeat. Was away for Saturdays match (thankfully) 

Team needs a shake up and maybe time to make some changes all across starting line up. 

Give Nelson a run out, start Silko Thomas. Keep carranza on for a while 90. 

Where's Page? 

 

Gonna be a 2-0 victory for Boro.

Probably a physicality/age thing. 

 

I think we're at the point where starting line-ups need to include as much pace and power as possible because it's evident that the players with "quality" aren't turning up right now. I'd give Silko Thomas a run out in that regard to see what he can do from the off.

Last season u18s, all appearances at RB. U21 several LB some RB. 

 

Year before for u18s, every single appearance was at RB.

 

He is right footed.

 

Where did he play for England U20 when he came on? right back.

 

My point, and the main point I am making. IF Martì has identified Aluko as an option at LB, Say... 3rd choice (Which we know is wrong because both Hamza and Faes have been put there), let's play along that Aluko is this James Justin style LB. Then why in the **** would we let the U21s play him RB this season?
