Maybe if he’s not in England he can’t get the collections man coming after him lol

You jest, but this though has crossed my mind too. Or it could be that he can't leave Thailand because of financial pressure there.

I've worked for several Asian companies in my life and whilst I enjoyed working for them, one thing I noticed is how because of pride they will never tell you if things aren't working out till the very last moment. It starts with some subtle things; events are cancelled at the last minute, payment dates get move back and expenses take longer to process. And of coure the killer, upper management is hard to reach and never around...

I don't think we or the wider LCFC public know how quite bad the lack of cash is.

I just looked up the accounts due to the two months late confirmation statement.

Traditionally we've always used the Aussie bank loans as a form of cashflow supply to sign players but it's clear it's no longer being used for that. Over last year, we registered five charges. We have agreed loans on Justin, Cannon, McAteer, Hermansen and PL monies received. Now the club clearly felt the need for urgent cash yet our transfer dealings in this period have been near minimal.

What happens when there are no transfer deals to do this from? What happens when the cash runs out again?

I agree with this other than the money needed to sign players. Normally these days transfer fees are paid over 3 years. You have been taking the loans to get this money early but you still need to pay for the players you sign to replace them. So there's a good chance these loans are now being used to pay the transfer fees for players signed in the last few years and also to cover the wages. This leaves nothing for new players unless your club goes further into debt.

The problem with this is these payments need to be kept up to date or serious points deductions start.

Why?

I don’t think the poster was being intentionally racist but it’s fairly easy to see why people might jump to that conclusion so let’s not be all faux naif about it.

Eh? How?

Tell me how you relate calling someone a chimp to someone who’s Thai?

Thoughts like this are part of the problem in this country. Faux offence

Non-white people have been likened to monkeys and apes for hundreds of years as a form of abuse.

I don’t think anyone was expressing faux offence. Just that they were surprised the comment hadn’t been moderated.

Our biggest derby of the season. I tell you what, I’m absolutely certain his father would’ve been there.

Miss him dearly. As a supporter, it is sad to see what has happened to our club.

The lack of information coming out of the club is truly alarming. Absentee Chairman and no one to front up to the press and let us know what is happening about potential points deductions, transfers and some sort of forward plan for the club. I can only speak for myself but if things don't alter I won't be renewing my tickets next season as this mushroom has about had enough and many around me are voicing the same opinion. Sad times.

His dad would be spinning in his grave to see how he treats this football club.

It's such a shame! He could have ran it properly and it be a passion project to remember his dad and make him proud.

I know I can easily say, his dad made every Leicester City fan proud to be affiliated with the club because how it was run and the achievements on the pitch.

It's getting to the point where I'm not sure he even acknowledges that he owns us. I'm guessing he's put all the paperwork etc in a draw, closed it and that's it.

Did this bellend ever consider the possibility that this would all backfire on him spectacularly?

Go an about getting people close together and then not bother to show up. All the more when things have gotten worse and people who won't forget the message of 10 weeks ago

We were critical of things Vichai did but he never seeked our approval with 'togtherness' nonsense. He made a decision and got on with it.

I can't wait for the next installment of Tops stellar regime.
