Aiyawatt 'Top' Srivaddhanaprabha believes the bond between Leicester City’s players and fans has been strengthened following the appointment of Gary Rowett.

Writing in his programme notes ahead of Saturday’s clash with Norwich City, the Foxes chairman has highlighted the improvements City have made since Rowett was brought in less than two weeks ago – crucial to what he concedes is a ‘fight for survival’.

City go into today’s game on the back of two draws under Rowett but still in the relegation zone with a dozen matches to play.

 

On a day when there are planned protests against King Power’s management of the club, the chairman wrote: “Between now and the end of the season Gary will bring deep knowledge of the Championship to our team and strong experience of the situation we now face in these final 12 games – a fight for survival in the division.

“As one Club, our collective focus is on providing every support possible to Gary, the staff and players to help find the solutions we need.

“Gary’s positive impact on the squad has already been visible in his first two games – challenging trips to Stoke City and Middlesbrough that have seen much improved performances and two hard-earned points.

“Those improvements have also strengthened the vital connection between our players and our fans, whose support is always so strong on the road.

“Thank you to everyone that made the trips to Stoke and to Middlesbrough, I’m looking forward to seeing how the team can build on those improvements in front of our home fans today, which can give energy to the whole stadium.”

I think he would get more respect by selling the club asap that way we can at least remember him for his part of winning the premier league and fa cup. 

 

The longer he stays the more damaged the club gets and it's does us no favours running the club into the ground, hopefully somehow we can find a way to stay up to make it more attractive to buy only been one league off the premier instead of two!
