I'd be going to Holwell Sports who are my closest non-league club but they've got struggles of their own at the moment. No relief

Played against them for Barwell about 150 years ago! Or was it Holwell Works back then?

I can’t imagine I’d be too interested in football without Leicester or a phoenix club (but there would be a phoenix club so). I’d probably loosely follow St. Pauli, try going to a Forest Green Rovers game because veganism.

Probably just do England home and away, which im seriously considering at the moment.

Tick of the rest of 92 that I have left.

Ashington........it's getting that way anyway! To be honest any non league team....they value the support. We get about 350 at Ashington and it's as good an atmosphere as it is down at the KP at the moment!

Would never support any other English team. Given that i wouldn't be able to support local non league clubs,  would just stick to the local Canadian clubs  Toronto FC (MLS) and Hamilton Forge FC (Canadian Prem league)

It is true that it could never be like supporting Leicester, that emotional attachment you get from a young age.

I feel I have become much less interested in football outside of Leicester anyway. The last time I watched England was the Euro 2024 final. I rarely put any of a game on that isn’t Leicester. So I suspect my interest would fizzle out completely.

But for the purposes of the question, I’d likely just follow my closest team which is Rotherham United.

Cagliari... don't really have a reason... maybe my 3rd cousin played for youth team??? But that's who would gain my loyalty...

There is no way I would even consider supporting any other club, Leicester City has been the one constant in my life since I was 5 years old, I have supported and loved them like nothing else for nearly 47 years.

i adore my family but this is something very different, a love and a commitment that despite players, managers, owners, kits, even stadiums changing my love and passion never diminishes.

Joking aside whenever I think about this, it always raises another question, what is it that makes people support a football club and carry that love and commitment right through their lives, because it’s not really what humans are tuned into do. We fall in and out of love with people, we can be fickle and flaky with friends, jobs etc and yet most people make this lifetime commitment that they never waiver from, its mad isn’t it?

Oldham is my closest league club, FC United is the closest non-league. Thought about going along to either, but I can't find the enthusiasm for it. Maybe I will at some point, but it wont be the same.

It's Leicester or nothing. In terms of being a match-going fan, I fear 'nothing' is winning that particular battle at the moment when I consider all the travel and time it takes, as much as I hate the idea of going back to being an armchair fan...

I'm not sure I could ever support another club with the same unconditional duty... However, I do absolutely love the game and enjoy watching those teams and players who are masters of their art. I for example this season have really enjoyed watching Man City go forward and Arsenal both defend and attack corners. It's weird, as I'm not watching those teams to be associated with the glory or any personal attachment to success – I simply love watching great football and footballers. So I'd maybe pick a team to follow for the season who I thought would entertain me the most or just dedicate some time to watching those games that I'd normally not take the time to do so.

I'd support whoever Forest were playing that week.   (oh, actually, I already do that .............................. )

I’ve already moved on, cannot see the big clubs or PL wannabes ever returning to their more humble roots.

I thought I’d miss it and return but actually I cannot believe how good it is to ditch corporate football

i realised it was over when for the past few seasons I stopped cheering any Leicester goals but cheered Brackley instead.

Personally it’s just 11 men in blue tops that don’t represent any of us and realistically they never did, same with all clubs.  Perhaps I’m being harsh as we just saw the last of the players that cared leave to Italy recently.

I just enjoy football with friends now which gives us loads of benefit from going to the Brackley home games.

I could easily change that too if we moved away and without doubt I’d follow another club but I like it down here so enjoy cheering them on.

BTW Leicester is not going anywhere, yes doldrums look very likely but the money being magically found for big cities to have football will continue without a doubt.

It keeps us all distracted and divided after all!

FC United looks a real vibrant club.

You’re very lucky to have so many clubs to visit in that area.  No need to be an armchair fan.  Bury alone has 3-4 clubs in minutes of each other.

I’ll be at Curzon v Radcliffe on Boxing Day, my brother in law supports the away team

Cremonese

Already happening, great spirit, great striker, deffo got that 2015/16 vibe, and great food.

For some of us, our LCFC has nearly ceased to exist already.
