That's odd because I'm sure I read that people with concerns about his fitness were just being negative for the sake of it, and now you're telling me he's not even managed to stay fit in training long enough for us to sign him? How strange.

Well the people who had concerns about his fitness must be very pleased that LCFC have done their due diligence rather than sign a player who isn’t fit.

Unless you’re being negative ;)

Yes it's an absolute masterstroke by the club as far as I'm concerned

It doesnt say small.

If he was looking for something small like a 6 week layoff, then i dont see the point.

It was a hamstring injury. Did it out on the pitch training.

Its sad for the player but after the trauma the lad had with the accident I am happy that he is healthy to an extent.

No offence to him but I am glad we wont be signing him up, there must surely be better options for us!

It’s unfortunate for him, however he won’t be the only player we will have had in trial this season. Niggly injuries are part and parcel as the game after you come back from significant Injuries.

If you were of a very suspicious disposition, we probably never had any intention of signing him anyway, it was  announced just to appeal to our fans to keep them intrested in any new signings.

Send a striker back to his parent club before we have another in the door. Antonio gets injured prior to signing. Very Leicestery. Phil

Carranza was clearly never going to play for us again. Surely better to get his loan off the wage bill irrespective of whether we get anybody else in?

Bet we’re paying for his rehab

Knowing our luck, a late Faes challenge has done his knee in and we will pay for 8 weeks of rehab for him as a gesture :)

Surely it couldn't made more Leicestery by having a Striker we sold score against us in the same week?.........oh

Due diligence would have suggested it wasn't a wise idea in the first place

I really don’t think there was too much lost in giving a free agent a trial. This signing was always about the contract and what terms he was or wasn’t given. Without that information people were getting excited about nothing.

It also seems that people still don’t grasp the desperate nature of our position. It’s clear we’re not signing anyone for a fee. We’re probably looking only at short term loan deals and free agents.

If this deal looked like we were scraping the bottom of the barrel it’s probably because that’s precisely the market we’re operating within. Meanwhile we continue with Ayew and Daka. A position I can’t remember being worse in 40 years supporting club. Personally I will be clinging onto whatever the next desperate option is that’s thrown into the ring

Nothing wrong with him I bet. Just be holding out for someone like Burnley to come in for him, or even another couple of months back at West Ham when they realise their two new forwards are crap.

He's going to do everything he can to play and try and force his was in to the Jamaica squad if they win their playoff for the world cup.

He's probably got a minor injury or nothing at all. He's spent a month training here, speaking to the players and probably picking up on the tension around the manager and leadership and can see us spiralling and just dont fancy being part of it.. couldn't blame him if so.

Don’t think that’s going to happen,

“Any one got the receipts for the £40m worth of players we need just brought”
“On second thoughts lets get the bloke still without a club back after 9 months that was in a career ending crash”

Yea I highly doubt it too.. but when they realise that 40m is getting them nowhere and they're desperate to stay up you never know do ya. Especially as available anytime.. highly doubt it though.

Can see him going somewhere like Burnley or Scotland
