The club don’t pay for these anyway, it was previously part of the sponsorship agreement they had with various companies

Makes you wonder if the deferring of the early Xmas pay was to keep the accounts afloat over the Xmas period. Doesn’t look good if they’re looking at other ways of cost cutting with food vouchers being stopped.

Firstly stewards never got vouchers when I worked at the club but I haven’t been there for quite a few years so obviously could have changed in that time,

 

 The thing I’m finding confusing at the moment is that the catering is outsourced to a 3rd party so surely if that email is real then it must of come from them and not the club?

Wouldn’t be that hard to have a deal with the 3rd party caterer to provide a certain amount of vouchers to the club who then distribute to the stewards

I agree, but if that email is correct and vouchers are not being issued due to shortage of stock then that’s down to the 3rd party and not the club?

To me that email reads more like someone at the club fvcked up and didn’t request enough, rather than the 3rd party being short on stock

When does the club’s financial year end? I’m just wondering if the cuts and stalls in payroll might be trying to trim the outgoings due to PSR?
