On aside, what are these vouchers for? The crap, unhealthy food at the ground? And why are they given in the first place - a perk of the job, or a genuine concern that a steward can't prep food around work? I assume stewards are on zero hour contracts?

You've got to have a Pukka Pie in you before you stop one of our pitch invasions.

'If you don't feed the Stewards, then we're on the pitch'.

I mean, if I was given a voucher for that shit I’d probably just go home 😂

Absolute belters, which I will steal with pride and recite in the pub later 👏👏👏

‘Additional supply arrangements’. I would speculate that due to the dwindling attendance numbers the club is reducing the order of pies and other confectionery in concourses. However, they realised (probably at very short notice) attendance will be likely higher as versus Derby just for tonight, and removing stewards free meal meant they could ensure they could have more available for fans.

Don't make sense there is probably about 100 stewards at most right

I've not worked at LCFC but worked at Anfield and Tigers in hospitality and they both provided a very basic meal for all of their casual staff on concessions, in the bars and stewards.

All on 0 hour contracts, but pimarily I don't think they want people bringing in food, so they essentially have to provide it. Both those places cooked big vats of pasta for everyone IIRC.

Useful to know - thank you!

The worst part of this is that email, (which could have been written by a 5 year old) was genuine communication from a professional organisation to its employees.

Unbelievable, I was certain based on the lack of writing ability that it was a fake.

Whilst it doesn't change my view on King Power, Top and his cronies, are we 100% sure it's legit?

Obviously I don't want it to be and it's not a great look if it is true, but the email reads so badly. Maybe I should be thinking that if could actually be true with that being said lol

I'm not convinced but happy to beat them with any stick someone hands me tbh lol

Tonight we might surpass the 30,485 'attendance' vs Watford lol

Not being funny but turning up for a 4-hour shift of paid work and expecting to get fed as well is a bit mad.

Skipp, Okoli, Faes, Thomas, Stolarczyk, Fatawu, Ayew don't even turn up for a 2h shift and they're paid some thousands per hour.

I was a steward for 10 years up till covid when I couldn't be arsed to go back when the crowds returned, food vouchers were never even a thing.

On the odd occasion some bits were left over from the kiosk which everyone was welcome to but it wasn't a given.

After "Covid" everyone is vulnerable, millions claim they have mental issues and they're full of entitlement while HR and employers are protecting them like toddlers. Why do you think this country is heading straight to bankruptcy?

I'm saying their employment status changed after 2020. It happened everywhere. And my comment is absolutely related to what you've posted whether you like it or not.

Does make you think what’s next to be stopped, Top has really saved a few Quid this Christmas for not giving out a free beer and cake as a Christmas pressie from KP No fan zone last couple of games, what with not giving wages early for the staff now stopping food for stewards makes you think what’s going on behind the scenes and why Top hardly makes an appearance has he pawned off the jets and chopper but what’s next No Loo rolls in the lavs  No clappers ( please get rid !!🙏) ??😉

Did anyone at the game last night think about asking a steward if this voucher thing was actually true?

I mean at least some people got some pizza out of it. The difference in meaning from discussing pizza and Leicester City between now and ten years ago…
