LcFc_Smiv Posted 17 January Posted 17 January Dreamt we were 5-0 up within 30 mins, pure bliss, dont wake me up! 1
OntarioFox Posted 17 January Posted 17 January Waking up hoping we can do Middlesbrough a favour. Middlesbrough. God it's grim at this club right now.

ronnup Posted 17 January Posted 17 January This lot will turn up today, because the transfer window is open. 1-3 JJ, Mava, Daka 1
andrewsfoxes Posted 17 January Posted 17 January Only just got home from work, not sure if I'll be up for the torture.

This isn't the Premier League we're talking about. I don't think fans realise that there is talent, but the nature of the club is so broken and dysfunctional that good players are not performing at their levels due to poor management and poor leadership that includes the entire board and ownership. You cannot flourish under the circumstances at LCFC. Players cannot improve here, nor can they be maximised. In football you want to extract the most out of your players, but that simply isn't possible in this environment. A rotten culture breeds rotten performances. We do have talent but we are in a transition and to expect the squad to be at the top of the Championship is probably a step to far at this point. Of course the board have tarnished what we built but that doesn't mean another manager would get much more out of them, if you think that is a big issue then you are in for a shock

Tommy Fresh Posted 17 January Posted 17 January See this like Forest last year, we're not doing anything so it'd be a laugh to try and **** up their season 1
GrobyLCFC31 Posted 17 January Posted 17 January We’ll do these today, confidence will be high and all the lads will be talking about how we’ve got to keep winning to achieve our goals, we’ll then lose convincingly to Wrexham in midweek and draw 1-1 with Oxford at home to leave us in the same place 😆 And in years to come people will look back and go ‘that QPR Spanish Bloke Marti we had, he beat Derby and Cov away that year’
Pliskin Posted 17 January Posted 17 January It will either be a 1-0 defeat, or a 6-1 defeat. Depends which version of Coventry show up. Either way, either option will be agonising. I just can’t see us laying a glove on them…. If we get a point it would be excellent, if we get three points I’ll wear an “I love king power and leave John Rudkin alone, (we were in league one once yanow” T-shirt at the next home game. 1
UniFox21 Posted 17 January Posted 17 January 3-1 loss, we'll be pathetic for 60 mins and score when the games already dead. 1

LCFCJohn Posted 17 January Posted 17 January @Sky Blues, why do your lot have such an unhealthy hatred/obsession with us? I just had a wonder onto your forum to see thoughts on the game and there’s a whole thread dedicated to hoping we get a points deduction and banging on about administration in 2002. There’s a Leicester fan on there who is probably similar to yourself in being quite reasonable and actually talking football and the reaction to them compared to how you have pretty much been accepted on here (bar a few) is very different. Actively begging for another club to have points deductions and wanting them to go into administration is pretty pathetic and a poor reflection on your fan base to be fair. I’m sure we’d all find it quite amusing if you were to blow promotion after being so far ahead and your fans being gobshites but I doubt most of us were laughing at your mess under SISI.
Md9 Posted 17 January Posted 17 January They got lucky before a ball was kicked today with Middlesbrough pissing a way a 2-0 lead. I can’t see much other than cig being 3-0 after 20 mins after another poor start to the game. I know it was never likely we would but it’s so frustrating not bringing in anyone in at all over the last few weeks to give us a chance a putting a decent run. 1

He’s hopeless with he ball at his feet and he’s got a clanger or two in him every game. He also doesn’t command his area well enough for me, and against one of be leagues better sides we need a more experienced head. And, Aluko has to start for me, Thomas has to be dropped, however I don’t rate Okoli either, he’s dreadful, I’m not saying Vesty is any better but he is experienced and Aluko may be able to lean on hil during the game, I don’t think he can rely on Okoli. It’s immaterial because the opposite will happen, but it’s just my opinion. The problem with JV is he will play his slow style and make it all about him rather than pass quickly under zero pressure. That will leave Aluko stranded and have to try and mop up his mess. Nelson plays like a quicker and likeable JV now sadly because of poor coaching. Okoli is fine for now if he doesn’t have to pass the ball but the defence pass back to him constantly. We need to be getting Aluko high up the pitch but it also relies on Mavadidi not standing still, being selfish and using his brain. Hopefully Page can keep things moving forwards and add his energy in the middle along with JJ. Either way we get battered. We are too easy to play through. We lose the ball in the middle and get countered when trying constantly to play the Enzo ball to Ayew. Ricardo leaves so much space because he has to cover and Thomas gets skinned when he dives in, then tries to rock bottom the winger.

Hate only ever comes from below (obviously were below them for once but on every metric our standing is above them). Naturally I couldn't care less about Coventry and for all the years we were winning the league and cups and trying to win european competitions, I probably couldn't even tell you which league they were in. It's only because they seem to froth at the mouth every time they speak about us that I would want to put one over them, but that still comes second to just wanting us to get 3 points. I've never met a Coventry fan so it is what it is.
