Yet another manager who had loads of leeway and mitigations but absolutely p*ssed them away. Only himself to blame ultimately

Didn’t spend a penny…….had to go, but this club isn’t an attraction to Managers right now…..

Then it is King and we sit tight until the Summer I would imagine.

‘Sitting tight’ might be plausible if we were upper-mid table and were not facing a potentially big points deduction. As it is, we’re facing one hell of a battle to stay in the division—and with a squad of players who have shown no sign whatsoever of being up for that kind of battle.

You do not give that job to somebody with no managerial experience and who has been on the coaching staff during this season’s shit show.

Right that's him gone. Rudkin and Luke Thomas and Winks and Soumare next.

It was not an endorsement, it was a prediction.

What also gets me is the timing of it. Everyone was saying it was because of money. Now we know it isn't, it begs the question who on earth watched Blackburn at home and thought he was honestly turning it around from there?

The joy that we have sacked Jifuentes is short-lived as the same idiots will be choosing his successor.

It’s mad but it literally doesn’t matter. We’ve had good mangers and bad managers in the past Marti was bang average. But the club is rotten to the core and until KP and Rudkin leave, the next manager(s) will fail just like Marti

Has his staff left too?

Xavi Calm and Javier Ortiz?

No mention of it in any of the press but you’d assume so

Unfortunately it seems like Marti underestimated the scale of the job both on and off the pitch. It's a shame as he made a real effort to build a connection with the fanbase & city, but he fully lost the home crowd yesterday and there's next to no chance of any manager coming back from that.

And now whoever takes over brings back the unwanted players and we start the cycle again.

Winks Soumare Daka all get chances again

Can't wait
