Pretty stupid, and I wonder how many fans are falling for this blame the manager for the mismanagement of the club.

 

They didnt even appoint a new sporting director first, and still no new CEO.

I think everyone accepts he was dealt a lousy hand. But he took it on and lests face it, We only got worse as the season went on.

While football fans are fickle, of course, I really don't think it would have taken much for the fans to see his side and blame the owner, the players, and the lack of investment. 

 

He didn't even really need to perform 'on par'. Sub par would have been sufficient for him to curry favour this season. 

 

Somehow he's been bad enough for the collective thought to be that even with these chancers we call our players, we should be doing a hell of a lot better than we are. 

 

We genuinely haven't had a single 90 minute performance we can be proud of. Not that many 45s either, if we're honest. Incredible.

This is true of both him and Van Nistelrooy. He really was dire.

Yeah, I am emotionless over the news, we not addressing the key issues.  I simply dont care who is manager at the moment, its a odd feeling.  All I want is KP and Rudkin gone.

I agree KP out,  and I'm certainly not blaming the manager for the miss management of club. 

 

Thoes fvck up's sit squarely in the lap's of the Nepo Baby and Teflon Jon along with appointing him in the first place.

 

But I will blame him for his poor performance as a manager.

 

A manager who was so confident of his skills to pay his own Compo to come here  knowing the situation beforhand with regards to what players he had to work with, knowing the real possibility of points deduction was on the cards, after which the job could potentially be harder, but he still.came non the less.  

 

A manager who due to his sh1t team selections (yes not he best squad, but far from the worse) like playing Thomas instead of better Aluko, or Faes instead if the better Nelson  choosing to.play lazy dross like Soumare and an aging BDCR  when we have Skipp who will.at least work on the pitch or the younger, hungry Page at his disposal - his choices

 

OK not getting any backing isn't his fault but after two or thee matchs and evaluating the players in training and in battle he could and should have made better selections. 

 

A  manager with poor subs, and in game management,  no playing identity,  poor fitness training, no plan B, there's plenty of basic failings I'm sorry to say.

 

That's what I judged him on   I judged him on the stats listed during and post match, the win, loss numbers , the lack of clean sheets, a league position that was going in the wrong direction....  and he was found wanting.

Literally nobody is letting the board off the hook but Cifuentes is still doing a horrific job and needed to go. 

 

The two aren't mutually exclusive.

I mean, it's not stupid to sack him. He might not be the root of all issues here, but he's the manager and so sets the tactics and the game plans. Under him, we rarely created anything (much as we rightly malign Daka and Ayew, they don't ever really get chances to miss) and barely broke into a light jog.

We have sacked three managers in 14 months ,all of whom had three year contracts and the original one still has  18 months left.

Do feel bad for him, but he knew the beast he was getting into, right decision probably should’ve been a few weeks ago. 
 

just get Nige back don’t care if he’s in a wheelchair and communicates the tactics by AI
