Plymouth supposedly want between £3-5 million for Tolaj, looking doubtful with that price tag and some of the other clubs linked.

Finding the right strikers might be the most difficult recruitment this summer.

 

But I’d take a look at Emre Tezgel - Stoke.

 

10 goals on loan at Crewe last season, and was awarded their young player of the season award.

There is no rumour just a thought John Lundstram. I would love him to come here. Ideally as a transfer but even a year on loan. He does have 1 year left on his contract with Trabzonspor, so would require a fee. Can't imagine it would be a lot considering he's 32 but could be that midfield quarter back we need to dictate play. 

Maybe dreaming a little with this, but I can't see him being an expensive transfer with low wages and you know what you will get with him.

Dreaming for John Lundstram. Wouldn't have dreamt of that in his prime, whenever that was, never mind at 32.

You expect Man City to help us out with a player or two, Alleyne and Mfuni might be unrealistic as they looked the part at Watford last season, but another one of their CB’s, Kian Noble was nominated for the PL2 player of the season award.

 

Get him in to go alongside Souttar or a new experienced CB.

Didnt he just get promoted to the Prem with Hull? So the only reason he would choose a League one club over another Championship team is if we offered him a lot of money.

I initially registered to provide information for when u play us the coming season.  But seeing comments about Bim and Tolly thought I would give a Janners perspective.

Last March the club held a fans forum.  It came up about player sales.  It was stated that there are two valuations of a player, what they could raise by selling him against and  what it would cost to replace.  The second is the value that he brings on the pitch. The value over the season from Tolly was 18 goals in 33 matches plus 7 assists.  Obviously his value on the pitch is far greater value to us than anything we could hope to obtain. Yes all players have a price but I cannot see the club selling either of them this summer, as the club's stance has been the same when asked throughout the summer, that the budget is set as the same as last year and they have no plans to sell any of the squad.   Should we fail to go up this season then I can see the pair being sold next summer.

Aside from the fact they look nothing alike, play in different positions, have only one club in common, are from completely different parts of the country, and would in theory be playing for us at different stages of their careers then yes, Richard Stearman vibes
