How about we start a fans consortium to take over the club? I am being deadly serious!

It's been done before but never at the City. Woke up this morning and looked at the league table. 17th. Very depressing. How we have fallen. Three terrible managers have a lot to account for- plus no money for decent signings has led to this disaster situation.

And it's very likely we are going to get more of the same when we play Birmingham this Saturday. Time for new owners who are passionate about Leicester City. Not like the current ones who see LCFC as just a convenient tax break ......it's the duty free company they really care about back in Thailand.

Where's the hard cash? We don't want the best training ground in the league. We want the BEST team in the league. We want a team that's exciting to watch. That play great attacking football and also know the art of decent defending unlike the current clowns on show. OKOLI should not be anywhere near a football club....least of of all ours. He's a disgrace for what he did last weekend against Charlton. Another player who only cares about his pay packet and not the badge.

Yes. I've seen our desperate transfer deadline signings. Didn't know whether to laugh or cry. A 32 year old has-been defender,...ex Newcastle.... a 29 year old midfielder? (not another one!!!) and a couple of kids with promise but it's not going to happen anytime soon. We could have done with 3 or 4 experienced (but not veteran) signings who could have hit the ground running. One or two of them a STRIKER!!! You know?? Someone like Cannon who we gave away to Sheff U. Moore at Wrexham? Jay Stansfield at Brum? These are the players who will get you out of jail. Instead we sign ....well....I don't want to offend the blokes who have joined the club as I am sure they are decent human beings and are decent blokes. It just means Daka can sigh with relief again. OMG! Is he really still here on full wages??? He couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo. How do these players continue as professional footballers??

So, if there are fans out there who feel it's a subject definitely worth talking about, then how about it???? Or are we just going to sit here like lemons and take it?? It's no use posting the same old stuff because the Board couldn't care a less.

ACTION IS NEEDED!!! URGENTLY!!!

We are in real danger of two successive relegations and then what??

Let's do something about it before it's too late.

I've been a City fan since the late 1960s. This is the worst Leicester team I have ever seen.

End of

We'd probably need to raise a few hundred million quid and then find a way to inject capital into the club after that, it isn't happening. I'm all for the idea of fan ownership, but it is probably only going to allow clubs to be competitive at League 2 and non league level.

Realistically you would need to raise a few hudred million pounds minimum to just cover the cost of the infrastructure. Then you have the cost of the brand which as it stands is not as valuable as it once was but still clearly has a lot of value and potential value. Then you have things like assets (players) to take into account. I doubt enough money could be raised to pay for 1 player let alone a whole squad. If you clear all of these hurdles then you would still have the problem firstly of King Power not wanting to sell and secondly that none of us have any idea how to run a football club.

I reckon you are looking at the best part of £1bn to do something like this with a club the size of Leicester. 300 million on infrastructure, 200 million just of the players value and a few hudred million for the brand and club. Plus finding money to keep it running.

Unless you can find a billionaire fan it would be impossible without financing and I for one would doubt any bank would loan money to such an endeavour. Your most realistic course of action would be to create a new club and start from the bottom and try and work through the pyramid.

You'd need to start at the bottom with a new club - Leicester Fosse 2016

Clubs got too many debts I think, even if takeover was possible by the fans they would still be the overhanging debt we would inherit. I think going forward we would need huge business people to come in to spend the cash to get that debt down. I do think if TOP but the club on the market there maybe interest.

I'll grab the half time oranges, you clear the dog muck off the pitch.

To put this into perspective, if every single Leicester City fan put £1000 in each, we still wouldn't have enough for a decent LB.

Mate, you've opened yourself up to inevitable ridicule with your OP.

Clearing out my late BiL's house. A lot has gone to charity but there's some stuff we could sell on eBay...

PS, you can't be serious...

I mean as much as I hate to defend Rudkin the lads scored 5 goals in 41 appearances for them and two of them were against us who let every striker short of a goal in the Championship score against us and they paid 10 million for him, it's one of his better ones lol

Well not really. If we had been a little more patient with him, he would have improved....which he clearly has, Unlike Daka who will never get better.

Ffs, we were crying out for some HB pencils and what do we get? HH.

To make matters worse, we bought them second hand from Southampton. Their fans can't believe we've taken yet more of their cast offs.

You couldn't make it up.
