Marti Cifuentes would have kept us up. Rowett has absolutely no understanding of modern footballing tactics. Like literally nothing. It feels like he wears his tactical ignorance as a badge of honour. Andy King at least tried to show some pattern of play. This team does not have a clue what to do. I know we were scraping the barrel when Cifuentes got sacked but wow did not expect standards to have dropped to this. Has to be on Rudkin and team - absolutely NO contingency planning at any stage of the season. Too busy ordering hay for horses I imagine. If the contingency was Andy King then that decision itself needs to be studied.

It's just struck me how much he looks like Dobby the house elf

He has to leave, but no point taking action til the sesson ends, as we won't get a manager fit for purpose before then anyway.

 

He could have done stuff.  He could have kicked over a few chairs, snarled at the slackers and dropped the underperformers. 

 

He could have changed formation, called on academy products, yadda yadda.

 

However he just carried on doing what the previous manager did and picking the same bunch of failplayers.

 

As such, it's been a total failure of an appointment.

 

Good luck in your future endeavours, Mr Rowett, but they will be elsewhere.

Exactly this.  Drop as many players that have been part of this mess.  We don’t need to see the likes of Ayew, Mav, Daka, JV, Ricardo, winks and the useless loan players again. Just give them an early holiday.  Play the mystery keeper in as well to prove he’s not a money laundering scam. 
 

Throw the potential future players in at the deep end, don’t wait for the usual preseason guff to see them run around some cones and 20 minutes in Austria. 2 x 90 mins of footage for the next DOF/manager/coaching staff to look at.  This is about damage control and trying to repair the relationship and club for next season. It can start with a few simple changes every day. Action not meetings and reviews. 

King, the other useless coaches and back room staff all need booting.  They have overseen the poor fitness, lack of discipline and tactical ineptitude.
