Had we had a striker who knew where the goal was, the amount of chances (chances weren’t creating under MC) we created in the last half a dozen, who knows we could be lauding him. I will say, he should have given someone from the academy to play upfront, certainly in the last 3/4 games, maybe they would have taken one of those chances!

He's not been great. But there has been some serious failings from the players.

Strikers missing sitters, goalkeeper playing balls to opposition.

Defenders making silly mistakes.

Yes he picks them but he's not responsible for them making school boy mistakes.

I don't want him to stay on but he's not to blame in this

Maybe. But it would be for the perspective of fraudulent incompetence, and from his interview still seems he quite fancies KP paying him for another season. Don’t expect much.

It's safe to say I'm not a fan of his, far too negative always trying to avoid defeat when what was needed were wins. The last 6 or 7 we should have gone pretty much all out attack and just focused on that side of the game, regardless of the risk we'd be more 'open'.  Even if it didn't work, at least we could have said we tried. Instead, we kinda petered out like the last dribble of a wet fart.

Also, I think he will now have the honour of being the worst manager in our history in terms of win percentage, for any manager to have managed 10 or more games. Even if we win the last. So that'll look good on his record. At least he had a nice holiday whilst here.

All in all, it was another masterclass appointment from the hierarchy.  They, once again, are to blame.

Gary “Rowlatts Hill” Rowett

Petition to rename Rowlatts Hill to Rowetts Hill in recognition of the need for fans of Gary Rowett to have some to graffiti their support of him.

If you’re going to rely on experienced players then maybe you need to look at their recent experiences before deciding to play them.

He’s a shit manager. Maybe he can work with a basic caveman footballer squad. Keep it tight and maybe score the odd set piece.

The issues with the performance were obvious yet never addressed or addressed with authority. Fatawu kept getting doubled up on because he is static and then doesn’t pass or players run into space. Mavadidi can’t beat a man, but he can create space by holding up players. So many potential and obvious tactics to work on but it always stayed the same and got rhe same results.

The whole technical and coaching staff, including King need to be released.  Unfit squad, zero accountability and ability to increase performance.

Anything he has to say is just an excuse or cope.

Don't know why Millwall fans hated him he took them within a point of the play offs

Probably because of all of the reasons that we don’t like him apart from the points per game part. The style of play, the lack of tactical nous and the rigidity of set up. A reliance on pre-planned substitutions. A reliance on senior pros irrespective of form and the under use of youth. The infuriating business speak and political non answers and an inability to engage/excite the fans.

He's an autopilot manager. Same team, same formation, same timed subs.

A lot of us have forgotten how bad most managers are at this level.

He had his chance.

Clear the desk Senhor Rowett

With his chance he should have done. It's clear all year we have needed a want to play and not want to play squad as Enzo did at Chelsea.

If the bomb squad ended up the larger of the 2 and we ended up with a load of youth the club would be a happier place even if relegation was the result.

I'm not a big fan but he has been better than Marti, who was fortunate enough to have a fully fit James. Our form falling off a cliff pretty much coincides with his injury. I've felt we've become harder to beat, but can't score. Regardless, we need a fresh start in the summer both in terms of management and squad. You'd hope we've been planning for this moment but I'm not holding my breath.
