Never in my entire time watching Leicester have I ever wished an injury on one of our own players.

But I swear, if Ayew could do his hamstring in the warm up, nothing serious, just enough to sideline him for the next month or two. We might actually stay up.

It seems that Rowett’s plan seems to be to add a little something extra in the second half a way of improving the team, rather than just ‘ fill the gaps’ or ‘ try something different’

thats the only explanation for Daka being dropped..

Because going down to only Daka as a recognised striker, who then has to play 90+ mins of every remaining game, helps us…how?

Because having some 15 year old from the academy who can actually run would be an improvement on Ayew up front.

I'd like to think it's fairly obvious, not being a psychopath, that I'm not seriously wishing harm on Ayew.

But we can't keep playing with 10 men every game hamstringing ourselves because he doesn't actually do anything.

Did you watch the Bristol game? It was embarrassing. We were lucky they were crap. He just strolled around the centre circle doing absolutely **** all.

I mean I know nobody can stand him but to be devils advocate… we did win on Tuesday with Ayew playing.

So maybe this is all part of some cunning plan.

Or it’s that Daka is just as crap.

But we won because we bypassed him completely...both goals. He didn't contribute to anything.

Then theres the counter weight of Ayew who are none of those things. Puts more pressure on Mukasa to be the goal threat.

Hopefully they all remember to not pass to Ayew in any build up.  All he has to do is press from the front and goal hang hoping for scraps.  He doesn't need to drop deep or occupy the wings, especially as he will never pass to a player in a better position.

With JJ back in the team, Skipp can just focus on mopping up at the back and pressing in the middle.

They need to stop inviting the press but Thomas and Hamza add little other than auto back passes.  Let's see what mood Mav is in today, I'm guessing step overs and not passing and moving into space.  He needs to finally step up, unlikely.

Yeah I was at the Bristol game. Thought Ayew was better than Daka. Don’t remember Daka contributing anything of note. Ayew better suited to a home game where the opposition aren’t going to leave space.

Daka and Ayew are both crap and they both ruin out attacks: Ayew by having no legs and rarely being in the box; Daka by having no touch or positional sense.

And obviously Rowett is not going to trust some unknown youth product over Ayew, so…

Really need a win here if anything just to drag QPR into it.

We need wins just to get us out of the mess we are in don’t care about other teams just do it ourselves

It’s really grim 🤢

You mean Ayew, or generally? Personally I prefer Ayew to Daka, but otherwise, what's wrong? Thomas yes, but no other left back.

No point being negitive for the hell of it.

Same moaning pre-match as Tuesday, its more tiresome than actually seeing the lineup.

He took out the worst performing player, and put in a decent youngster, give it a rest.

Ayew makes sense considering how well the wingers played last game. You want someone who will drag their centre backs away from the box and give a newly energisrd Fatawu or Mavidid the space.

Bring on Daka at 60 minutes when everyone's tired to get at them and keep the action in their half from that point on, hopefully while being a goal or two up.

Then he’s dropped for a player who offers even less

Unless goals is the desired output , last time I checked he is still top goal scoring striker despite not scoring since the start of January and Daka starting the last 6 before the last game
