Find it quite hard to judge a set piece coach with these players. Obviously it's not good enough.

But in most starting 11's we only have 2/3 players over 6 foot. It's a squad of short, physically weak players who just fanny around in the box and are rarely brave enough to attack the ball.

We desperately need more height in our squad next season.

This. It’s another problem of the recruitment, particularly with regards the loss of N’Didi who we struggled on set pieces without in the past.

Always struggle to understand why we have a small guy always marking the opponents biggest player when defending corners. We picked it up at the first corner on Friday, Skipp getting dwarfed by one of their centre backs, seems madness.

We don’t man mark, we stand on on predetermined position like statues

Zonal marking can work if you actually attempt to defend the cross or battle for the ball - so not with our bunch of ****s that can’t put any effort in or it appears think for themselves in the moment

Might not be fashionable these days with all these clever dick Coaches but if we had had a player on the far post in the last two games then both goals from corners would have been avoided. Probably others as well if it was researched.

It's like I'm responsible for handling all the glass items in a shop but I drop and smash every single one if them. Would I still have a job?

You have to remember, jumping up in the air may involve the ball hitting one of our players heads, then they will need a set piece hairdresser and make up coach to repair the damage.

just as long throws came back into fashion, you wonder if players on both posts will do the same. I think it got binned when it became apparent that those on the posts often kept the recipient of the near post flick on onside . Someone will be doing the stats on what’s best.  I’d rather have someone decent in the air in front of the near post melee and both posts guarded
