How many of us on here called this in the last couple of years. Refuse to sell tickets on Gen. Sale, a generation of potential new fans with a barrier to get to games.

 

Suddenly the team capitulates on the field, numbers drop and now they're desperate for new fans.

 

I love this club but there's so many negative things going on which I'm sadly welcoming happening to us. A lot of people at the club that need to sit up and take their medicine.

Fair play they are trying to get people in, it's a little to late though.

 

I took my money away from the club years back.  After having to give up season tickets to work commitments and then rarely ever being able to get tickets when we could come down and watch I just gave up and to be honest have had a better experience.

 

Have had season tickets at the Riders, Tigers and the cricket and it's been a more enjoyable family experience along with taking the kids to various non league/other football matches.

 

Can't fault the club for trying but I think they've disillusioned a lot of the fanbase over the years. 

 

Would love to be able to get exited by the City again, I miss the 90's

All I’ll say is, we’ve had a new commercial director in place for a month now and we’ve had access to away tickets for booking history, extra tickets allocated to sheff weds (after persuasion…) and now trying to make sure we’re making money rather than sitting on our hands and saying “oh well don’t want them anyway”

 

It’s baby steps but at least there’s some semblance of someone actually doing some work. Pretty sure Harj had been sitting on his hands for the last 10 months

I always felt that they  - Whelan - listened, but seemed to revel in it. The impression was the club enjoyed rejecting the feedback as they felt, that feedback was from the type of supporter Whelan despised and the type of supporter they preferred,. fully supported the ticketing sh1tshow

I know a lot on here think he's a great bloke because he's been half competent but he's presided over the worst relationship between club and supporters in our history. 

 

He's the bloke who has signed off on us treating fans like criminals. 

 

I'm going to point out how far this club has fallen and how complicit he's been in all of this. Begging the very fans he's oversaw the isolation of. He ought to know how badly he's oversaw the treatment of us. Probably the worst of the lot because of his supposed status as a 'fan'. 

 

They're all so dreadful.

He oversees fans relationships and has been complicit in treating us like we're pieces of shit.

This is sad to be honest. I guess league 1 or 2 means easier to get tickets and dont have to worry about getting some member to get points and not having a clue.

They blocked me from buying tickets after they realised I was the one trying to get the two ‘Rodgers Out’ birthday messages on the screen at HT

 

Only discovered about two years after the event. Had to call him to get it unblocked whereupon he gave me a lecture on getting behind the team even if the ‘sentiment might’ve been right’

He ought to be ashamed of his involvement in all this. He has no right to lecture fans on anything; zero authority. 

 

It really is a root and branch clear out. In the event the club survives he needs to go too.

Like many other clubs .... King power have took the fans for granted.... no matter what crap was served up .... now the tide is turning they are scrambling about looking for ideas .... myself .... I will pay good money to watch good football.... and 25% or 95% won't change what I have been watching for the past few years .... Karma is at your doorstep King power ..... live with it
