Exactly

I've always thought it would make zero sense A) for James to leave such a position at CFG with no assurances of influence within the position here, and B) to hire him and literally not listen to him with the experiences he’s got

I get the Rudkin power complex folks have, it’s completely understandable but when you look at the calibre of JM, there’s no way he was going to be a push over or an unheard voice in the board.

To an extent, those worries or concerns imo should have been laid to rest now with what we’ve seen so far from his clear impact, it’s been completely different this summer the way we’ve gone about things, and that’s no coincidence with McCarron's appointment.

I’m by no means saying it’s been perfect, but it’s been a huge step forward from what it has been over the years.

I’d say as someone else has said, so far so good and to be quite honest, that makes a refreshing change

🤣🤣🤣🤣

It’s very concerning that in the last 3 weeks we seem have lost complete momentum in shifting out the deadwood and wantaways.

Faes, Mavididi, Souttar, Okoli, Coulibaly, Thomas, Choudhury, Skipp are all still here, is it a case of no interest in our deadwood or as in previous years is it more a case of unrealistic valuations. Either way something has to change this week, otherwise I see a repeat of last season.

He’s got a few more to get rid of and replace, deadline day actually should be interesting this year. If it is true we don’t now need to sell financially, I still want pretty much a whole new defence and midfield (hamza and skipp gone).

step up and sort it

All the ****ing plonkers you saw on social media happy with the crumbs offered to them. Sums up how ridiculously far they've tanked expectations at the club.

This summer, like the last, should've been an absolute massacre of the squad. Literally 20+ gone.

But it's OK, Winks and Vestergaard both went so everything is fine.

We have a squad of players who know nothing but losing. Nothing but failure. Underachievement. Break it up. Rip it to pieces and rebuild from the ground up.

Burton ****ing Albion have this lot sussed. You do not need world beaters to be a football team that can compete.

Imagine your tactics are as easy as ‘let’s just load up the pitch with some big lads and get into these pussy’s’ - because that’s what we’ve seen in the first 2 league games and that’s what we’re going to face in the next 44.

if McCarron doesn’t spend the next 10 days shipping out some of these overpaid wet wipes and bringing in some strong, athletic lads (I don’t even care if they aren’t the best footballers) to supplement some of these young, nimble, attacking players (who seem to have potential) then we’re only going one way.

Yes not rocket science, Coventry managed 4 shots from 36% possession against Arsenal, yet we give Burton 13 off 26%.

We know we're not good enough to play this way yet the heirachy insist on forcing it down our throats.

We should have got rid of Skipp, BDR, Thomas, Okoli, Souttar, Faes, Mavididi, Choudhury already, but I've 0% confidence it will happen before the window shuts.

Cullen is also a poor piece of recruitment, obviously a RM signing but I'm not sure what he is?

He's playing as an 8 alongside Braybrooke, but he's not technical, physical or quick.

We were told the interest in Mavididi and Faes was high.  Yet here they still are.  It reeks of us p1ssing about over a few quid. Same wih Souttar.

Make use of the different financial rules in league 1 and get people who don't want to be here out the door.  Unfortunately we are surely stuck with Skipp and Thomas but move the others on now.

They have prioritised having 4/5 wingers so RM can double change them out at 60 mins. That is such a hipster Premier league new thing saying that wingers can only play 60 mins.

The priority should have been 2 x CB's who had power, desire to be here and be able to pass a football forward with a 90% success rate. Then an absolute monster CDM who could break up play and offer protection to Braybrooke and his smaller colleagues.

Couldn’t agree more other than an additional more experienced number 9.

Have you looked at the line up properly ?

Only 3 of the starting 11 were regulars last season (can’t count Souttar). Unrealistic to expect 100% new players

Agree we need more physicality in the 11, we look a small side, hope the remaining signings focus on this

People were bigging up this season because we have a semi decent kit

And he already had 2 in Evans and Carr.

The basics are you have a strong goalkeeper and reliable forward, building from there.

It’s incredible we haven’t invested in those positions yet again, relying on only having Bristic as a recognised striker is a huge risk. Instead, they’ve prioritised lots of ‘8’s - we have at least six players who can play that position.

Well done Jim lad, some quality swamp draining going on here. But I really hope we’re not paying a % of wages for outgoing players like Choudhury, Faes and Mavididi. Otherwise…

Faes

Mavididi

Okoli

Woyo

Skipp

All gone today and I will rename this fella God

Souttar, BDCR, Thomas still have a place I guess but can play roles for depth

You are assuming that it's McCarron doing these deals.

Who else would be? Unless he was employed to do a completely different job to his job title.

I imagine Rudkin is just bumbling around the halls of seagrave in his full tracksuit sticking his head in to different departments like David Brent

I've always thought of him as Lumbergh from Office Space

You do realise this is Leicester City Football Club, right? We've seemingly employed lots of people over recent years who are given a job title of 'footballer', but they've clearly never kicked a ball in their life
