He left at the right time. He won’t be returning as a player. One day maybe in some other capacity.

If we keep going back, we'll never be able to move on.

Yeah but a player/coach role would be good for sure, we are in a mess and could do with him around

Yes and no. He doesn't have his badges, and we don't know what he'll be like as a coach. he's 39 nearly 40 so a player he's really past it. We really need to move on now. In terms of character yes, he will be good. But like I say we can't keep looking back. He's left and lets keep those memories.

Another season would be too much. If you want him at the club then an embassador role, maybe

He would be a good investment

Weirdly Matej Vydra was only one letter out.

We really shouldn't be looking back. But... I don't back our recruitment team to get our striking options right, he'd most likely be the best we're going to get this year. Be nice to feel something other than apathy and hatred towards the club again too.

I'd love him to be involved with the playing side of the club, but not as a player.

We need to build for the future.  The future is not Jamie Vardy.

Not unless he's willing to be a bit-part off the bench and mentor young players.

Next year is just that crucial - not in the sense of our financial future relying on instant promotion, but in the sense that we need a bonfire of everything that has gone before. We can't afford to bollocks up the rebuild for the sake of sentimentality, even if a 39-40 year old Vardy would still bag plenty at League One level. And that's not just me talking with blue tinted glasses, he's got seven goals in Serie A for a relegation fodder side while being injured for long spells, which is more than Ayew and Daka have managed all season in the Championship.

I voted yes, but only in the sort of role Dickov had last time we were in the third tier. And that would frankly require a manager of Pearson's caliber to happen, so I'm doubtful.

Yeah at some point we really have to move on. One of the reasons we're in this mess is that we relied on him for so long.

While I agree the succession planning was awful from the club. The issue was never replacing Vardy, the issue was and still is that Jon Rudkin is a useless ****ing moron who spunked  200 million and didn’t deliver 1 half decent player in any position on the pitch let alone a striker.

We’ve got to stop looking backwards, instead of planning ahead.

No.

Its the Top's and Rudkin's way to look backward and no plans whats crazy all the fans have been affected by the T&R virus 😆

No. His career was made by his determination and attitude! It does him no good to come back to Leicester on paltry wages to "elevate"this club. He's far beyond this next dire Leicester step... thanks for the greatness and memories: but stay far away, Jamie! This club is toxic!

Love Vardy but we need to move on and remember him as he was , a freaking legend. He deserves better than our current shit show.

Retirement is better than joining us lol

He won’t come back now could have had him last season and still been in the Championship

Might even be fighting playoffs, how many awful draws or narrow defeats could his goals have turned round? And whilst he obviously can’t be the future, anyone who thinks he’s finished watch that goal against Juventus, outmuscling defenders and running half the pitch to score.
