3min breaks for a swig of water is completely unnecessary. Coaches should not be allowed on the pitch. Advert breaks more accurate description

It's in the USA. 4 min Ad breaks allowed every 10 mins in most tv programmes. 3 mins is generously short.

I can put up with that but, as you have said, no coaches allowed to talk to the players.

I do think that will become a rule going forward.

No sure why, but I quite fancy Senegal to get something tonight.

Good, strong, physical players with decent technique.

I just don’t think there’s enough shit on the pitch for these prematch line-ups. I saw some visible grass there.

The grass itself looks fooked aswell

Comms said there were concerns by Sengal about how short the grass had been cut.

Disappointing that there's no clever patterns.

You got to realise that TV channels pay for the world cup and to make profit on them they need advertising

They know what they’re buying. A game with two 45 minute halves!

Just put water bottles on the pitch for 45 seconds, no coaches or manager allowed then get the fvck on with it

Agree, or alternatively switch the sprinklers on for a minute and play on :D

Imagine playing in rain at 15c and stop the game for this nonsense. For any anti BBC thinkers see the future when it is wall to wall commercial tv

It's been physical but pretty low on quality. French front 4 have been shit but they only need a chance.

A chance like that....terrible finish from Sarr, has to score.
