Twists the knife into Croatia abit, they'll have to turn up against Ghana. Heat is on in the knock out rounds, result like this dampens expectations a little bit too. 

 

You'd expect Saka to be coming in over Madueke, the defence today wasn't first choice either.

honest truth is this, Ghana fantastic, kept tight, made it difficult… we couldn’t find the answer. Slow at times.., until the last 10 we didn’t really overpower them

The most England second game in the history of England second games. I didn't think Ghana would have the discipline to pull it off, but the 0-0 in the second game is inevitable.

 

Most worrying is the familiarity of that game. That was as vintage England as it gets, and that never bodes well in a tournament.

I do agree with you.. Ghana put everyone behind the ball and were very tricky to get past…. But I can’t help but think a world class team should be able to solve that problem.

 

possibly,  Tuchel isn’t playing his best team… he like the idea of of bringing some quality players to change the game, maybe. Prefer the idea of starting with our best 11..

Tbf so is passing the ball around terrified of losing it to their defenders instead of getting men in the box and try to score.

Why can't you chat about a football game without snowflakes like you getting upset at differing opinions. I've not seen one person say anything along the lines of we can't win the world cup. It was a poor performance and has talking points around that

 

Ultimately it's a point that pretty much secures qualification to the next round so the criticism shouldn't be too over the top but there is justification for there to be some

And do world class teams find the answers every time? I felt we did well at times, created chances… but it didn’t go in

Matters much less with the first win in the bag and the easiest fixture last. Didn't really thrown enough at the until the last 10 for me but no disaster. Most eventual winners don't win every game in the tournament.
