Stavros81 Posted Saturday at 22:21 Posted Saturday at 22:21 The fact that Saints fans are laughing at us again says it all. There’s goes the positive start we needed. Reset **** off!! 2
Hitesh Posted Saturday at 22:22 Posted Saturday at 22:22 I'm happy to eat my words but this is a ****ing disgrace for our degrading shambles of a football club 4
MGLCFC Posted Saturday at 22:24 Posted Saturday at 22:24 Like any manager who comes to Leicester I'm open to giving him a chance - but in all honesty this has to be one of the least inspiring appointments (if true) in our history. Trouble is, it appears Top and Rudderless are never accountable for their incompetence. I will, however, hold my hands up and say I was wrong, should some miracle occur and Martin turns out to be decent. 1
FrankieADZ Posted Saturday at 22:24 Posted Saturday at 22:24 if this one doesnt come off for the club, then it will certainly be the nail in the coffin for King Power at the club 1
winteriscoming Posted Saturday at 22:25 Posted Saturday at 22:25 If you could have asked all the fans at the last home game last season who you don’t want next season 99.9% would have said Martin. Dreadful decision. The only positive is his Mrs and the sooner he’s appointed the sooner he goes. 1
Popular Post Swarles Barkley Posted Saturday at 22:25 Popular Post Posted Saturday at 22:25 When you think you are at peak depression but the club finds ways to make it worse. Its quite impressive 12
john ridley Posted Saturday at 22:30 Posted Saturday at 22:30 Look forward to seeing Lucy wearing our new shirt, otherwise nothing good except step nearer administration and top ,Rudkin ****ing off .
Silverfox14 Posted Saturday at 22:30 Posted Saturday at 22:30 Worst news for well weeks….really gutted we have appointed him.
Popular Post jayfox26 Posted Saturday at 22:30 Popular Post Posted Saturday at 22:30 (edited) Genuinely feels like sabotage now. Appointing a manager that is incompetent as well as being hugely unliked by the vast majority of our fanbase is beyond belief. Edited Sunday at 04:07 by jayfox26 12 1
Nolucklcfc Posted Saturday at 22:32 Posted Saturday at 22:32 Even if it wasn’t Martin, any manager is going to really struggle to do well with this owner and board room. Another step closer to King Power leaving hopefully 1
KFS Posted Saturday at 22:34 Posted Saturday at 22:34 First side he’ll get to fully build from ground up. I’ll give him 10 games. What else can you do? 2
VLC86 Posted Saturday at 22:34 Posted Saturday at 22:34 Can’t fulfil a 3 year contract if the club doesn’t exist for the next 3 years… 1
Popular Post kingfox Posted Saturday at 22:34 Popular Post Posted Saturday at 22:34 Over a thousand 10+ pass sequences More than likely inverted full-backs 100 passes between our CB’s Sales for sleeping bags in Leicester might be popular over the next few months. Even though this appointment has felt inevitable for about three years, appointing him at any time would be shit, but appointing him on the back of back-to-back relegations, where the fanbase is currently broken and needs a lift, just shows how incredibly idiotic our board is. 12 1
Popular Post Mista_cle31 Posted Saturday at 22:37 Popular Post Posted Saturday at 22:37 Wow! To say I'm pissed off is an understatement. As a life long Foxes fan of 28 years, I've never been so disappointed and uninspired in a managerial appointment. I've never liked this man and how he's portrayed in the Media. I loathe his arrogance and ignorance and actually can't fathom why we'd appoint him. I love this club, but I can't support them with this man in charge, so I'm done! Nice one Top, along with your sidekick you've well and truly f****d up our club. Time to sell up and take Jon Rudkin with you. 4 1
Foxdiamond Posted Saturday at 22:38 Posted Saturday at 22:38 When you consider how his last two jobs ended you really have to question what on earth Top, Rudkin and Co are thinking. Even if they are obsessed with his style of football surely alarm bells should be ringing that Martin is not the bloke to employ. Oh and alienate the majority of the fans too. Have they taken a fall on the head from one of Top's horses.
fazzyfox Posted Saturday at 22:39 Posted Saturday at 22:39 Always reminded me of Nick Knowles. And I don’t like Nick Knowles. So basically……
winteriscoming Posted Saturday at 22:39 Posted Saturday at 22:39 Has there ever been a club that does the polar opposite to what the majority of fans want and been successful with it? I’m struggling to think of one. I’d be amazed if he’s still in charge beyond Xmas. 2
Popular Post Free Falling Foxes Posted Saturday at 22:39 Popular Post Posted Saturday at 22:39 I would love to crawl into the mindset of Top and Rudkin. They make mistake, after mistake, after mistake yet, presumably, they feel they are competent and worthy of their roles. Bewildering, baffling and suspicious. 5 2
MGLCFC Posted Saturday at 22:41 Posted Saturday at 22:41 If you listen to his interview with Lineker this is the exact patter that Top and Rudders wants to hear. Solid, pragmatic managers who know how this League works was the requirement, but no we go for the smooth operator.
DerbyshireFox Posted Saturday at 22:44 Posted Saturday at 22:44 Yay 🙄 Got no choice but to see how he does, but this is the most Top & Rudkin appointment imaginable. Fans dead against it a few years ago, so what has changed, other than being even deeper in the 💩. I suppose they’ll see this as a coup, and delude themselves that we can still attract a ‘quality’ manager. In reality, nobody else with any sense would go for him. That just sums up the decision making at the highest level. If we get promoted, then he’s met the minimum expectations. Anything less than that, and both the club and his reputation are in tatters. It’s a hell of a gamble to take, let’s just hope the former happens
