Like any manager who comes to Leicester I'm open to giving him a chance - but in all honesty this has to be one of the least inspiring appointments (if true) in our history. Trouble is, it appears Top and Rudderless are never accountable for their incompetence. I will, however, hold my hands up and say I was wrong, should some miracle occur and Martin turns out to be decent.

Even though this appointment has felt inevitable for about three years, appointing him at any time would be shit, but appointing him on the back of back-to-back relegations, where the fanbase is currently broken and needs a lift, just shows how incredibly idiotic our board is.

Wow! To say I'm pissed off is an understatement. As a life long Foxes fan of 28 years, I've never been so disappointed and uninspired in a managerial appointment. I've never liked this man and how he's portrayed in the Media. I loathe his arrogance and ignorance and actually can't fathom why we'd appoint him. I love this club, but I can't support them with this man in charge, so I'm done! Nice one Top, along with your sidekick you've well and truly f****d up our club. Time to sell up and take Jon Rudkin with you.

When you consider how his last two jobs ended you really have to question what on earth Top, Rudkin and Co  are thinking. Even if they are obsessed with his style of football surely alarm bells should be ringing that Martin is not the bloke to employ. Oh and alienate the majority of the fans too. I would love to crawl into the mindset of Top and Rudkin. They make mistake, after mistake, after mistake yet, presumably, they feel they are competent and worthy of their roles.

If you listen to his interview with Lineker this is the exact patter that Top and Rudders wants to hear. Solid, pragmatic managers who know how this League works  was the requirement, but no we go for the smooth operator.

Got no choice but to see how he does, but this is the most Top & Rudkin appointment imaginable. Fans dead against it a few years ago, so what has changed, other than being even deeper in the 💩.
 

I suppose they’ll see this as a coup, and delude themselves that we can still attract a ‘quality’ manager. In reality, nobody else with any sense would go for him. That just sums up the decision making at the highest level. 
 

If we get promoted, then he’s met the minimum expectations. Anything less than that, and both the club and his reputation are in tatters. It’s a hell of a gamble to take, let’s just hope the former happens
