Danizen Posted Sunday at 11:24 Posted Sunday at 11:24 They're definitely going to very quietly announce this during the England game on Wednesday. 2
lookwhaticando Posted Sunday at 11:27 Posted Sunday at 11:27 Just now, Danizen said: They're definitely going to very quietly announce this during the England game on Wednesday. That would require planning and foresight. I’d be amazed. They’re more likely to announce it when they think they’ll get more attention - they think this is a coup and we’re still big news worthy of attention, despite being in the third tier.

Chelmofox Posted Sunday at 11:32 Posted Sunday at 11:32 Oh - dont think for one minute they will be embarrassed about this. They will think this is a coup. He's got PL and SPL experience, got the beloved Southampton promoted and supposedly plays football the 'right way'. 6 games in, Top will be shaking his head at the KP wondering why we dont love him after a 1-1 draw where we had 80% possesion. 4

fox_up_north Posted Sunday at 11:37 Posted Sunday at 11:37 Christ his face looks like if you asked AI to make a smug man photo to be used in a meme
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted Sunday at 11:39 Posted Sunday at 11:39 Absolutely buzzing for the wordy and articulate statement from Top that definitely hasn't been copy and pasted from ChatGPT for him by the head of comms

Just when you think surely they have to make a right decision eventually they bring in this dip stick. The only positive is that if we're not at least in the play off positions by December surely even this board will sack him. Will they be able to afford to do that?
Guest Posted Sunday at 11:50 Posted Sunday at 11:50 Well, good luck to him, I guess. Difficult to imagine how they could realistically have made a less popular appointment given the hatred of possession football is one of the few areas where I think FoxesTalk is actually representative of how the fanbase as a whole feels. 1
MGLCFC Posted Sunday at 11:51 Posted Sunday at 11:51 I'm not a fan of possession based football and there were many games under Enzo's leadership that bored me. However, it was successful for that season. Why, because Enzo had enough quality players to make the system effective. Enter Russell Martin - same doctrine with far less quality available, even with a good transfer window, high technically gifted footballers aren't going to join a L1 club. So I think we'll see the same philosophy he's adopted at every other club he's managed, yet within the first 6 weeks frustration creeps in because the players can't apply his philosophy and it all goes pear shaped with us sitting mid table, angry fans and players who don't know what they are supposed to be doing.

Ricey Posted Sunday at 11:53 Posted Sunday at 11:53 It’s the ignorance and doubling down that does it for me. I just don’t know if I can put myself through it again. It’s clear that the fanbase will not be fully united again until King Power sell up. 1
Free Falling Foxes Posted Sunday at 11:53 Posted Sunday at 11:53 1 minute ago, deep blue said: Will they be able to afford to do that? I'm sure Rudkin would have thought about a clause in his contract along the lines of, if we're not in the top six come Christmas, we can mutually agree to part ways. Equally, if we miss out on promotion, he'll be 'released' with no, or very little, compo. Rudkin would have thought of that, wouldn't he?
FoxAsh Posted Sunday at 11:55 Posted Sunday at 11:55 Hopefully it works out not hanging on to much hope though. Good luck to him.

Popular Post Dan Posted Sunday at 11:58 Popular Post Posted Sunday at 11:58 The whole point of "we're a League One club what did you expect" spectacularly misses the point. Our fans would've got well behind Challinor. 10
southfox66 Posted Sunday at 11:58 Posted Sunday at 11:58 clearly the plan in this appointment is consistency, taking us back to the premier in two season, this is definately the last last last last chance salon if this fails, the King Power era will come to end either selling the club or collapse.
