Did he not realise we were losing 2 nil at that time, And the Goal we scored came from a long pass and getting the Ball into the box.

 

He needs to understand how to get results. Possession means nothing if you don't get results as in Goals.

Very Naive performance very strange substitutions from Martin took off not only our No9 when balls we’re flying around BA’s box but to take off Alves who arguably the best player on the pitch, finding space to play yet our defence chose to pass into a crowded midfield not looking Alves direction he was clear a few times!

This Tippy Tappy football passing in & around our box is almost suicidal inviting the opposition to hit us for an easy goal, why the Fuch do we carry on doing that BullSchitt why does Martin think we’re capable of this schitt?

one thing we need to do is get rid of those senior players who want out get them out of the club get people I. That want to play and Compete otherwise we are in massive trouble and really hoping we get a buyer in that knows how to successfully run a business and take us back to the Premier League within 5 years!

Martin O Neil's most recent book is a good read. One thing he mentions is how he assessed what the players strengths were and set up accordingly. With us the old 3-5-2 was a masterclass and suited the likes of Walsh and Tags. He went to Celtic and reverted to a back 4 and didn't play like he did with us.

 

Martin is a limited manager because he has no plan B and plan A is floored. Anyone worth their salt would look at Souttar and Okoli and play to their aereal strengths and get them off the ball as much as possible when in possession.

I didnt think it would be this bad. It seemed that there was a lot to be positive about in preseason with so many good performances from the Academy players. The games Stolly played he looked more assured and the kids showed pace, excitement and composure. There seemed to be positive patterns of play, intent, energy. Kids didnt lack physicality.

 

Once again, the experienced players are the problem. Struggling to adapt to anything. The kids play them off the park. How we are still playing Skipp and Okoli boggles my mind, and Souttar isnt much better.

 

But my god, the football is the worst i have ever seen. The play out the back is horrific, and everything (and i mean everything) comes through the CB's and the GK (and my god - the GK!). If feels like that last season of Brendan Rodgers when everything went wrong, and all you got was the CB's passing to each other and everything sh1tting themselves incase a progressive pass was made. Brayebrook and Alves (who gets limited minutes) are the shining lights, but i am convinced Martin would drop them for his mates in a heartbeat. 

 

Todays defeat felt like Oxford, Portsmouth and Charlton last season, where you couldnt quite believe who we were losing to.

 

Since promotion to the PL, Martins league form is horrific. 2 wins in 20. He is a serial loser staring down a barrel at the moment. These last 2 games he's served up the same dross he had been subjecting his last 2 clubs to. Nothing has changed. He HAS to adapt, or his career in this game is finished. Its mind boggling that he comes away from today and thinks he is not a major part of the problem.

Totally agree with this. McCarthy and Cullen. Wow. Shrewd business that is, they make  Okoli and Skipp look like decent transfers. Cullen may as well not have been on the pitch at any point in the league games so far. Utterly woeful and absent. His pal McCarthy coming straight in as number one is sickening.

Be careful what you wish for!

 

Massive 10 days to cut out more of the toxic players and sign some actual fighters. That might just about see us mid table. 

 

But the same players are letting us down and they continue to be the first names on the team sheet!

 

Get us some gritty CBs and CDMs. Stop giving the captaincy to a player who couldn't want to be here any less, its completely ****ing INSANE. This club and its absolutely bonkers decisions never cease to amaze me.

Cullen has played 2 games and the only time I knew he was on the pitch was when he took a free kick like a toddler, and got subbed.

This is not an overnight thing.  It is not the first game if the season it is the fourth year of appalling mismanagement and apathy.  

 

The fanbase should let it be known that they have had enough and that they demand more.  In turn the club should be pulling out the stops to try to win us round.

 

As for the kids, they are the only positive thing about this club but the senior pros cannot be allowed to use them as human shields to hide behind.
