Okoli is worth about 50p but would be good at this level. We don't need Souttar to go up and he's one of our most valuable assets.

We're in dire need of transfer money, and Souttar has made a more or less positive impression at the World Cup, which adds to his value.

 

There's interest and we should be selling to the highest bidder.

From my perspective, we need a complete restart at center back. We need a total clear out so we can build from scratch because it has been woeful for years. I like Souttar, but this is likely our last chance to command a decent fee for him.

 

Our transfer amortization across the board is still sitting around £17m annually.

 

Accounting wise, that puts us at a £17m deficit each year before we even factor in running costs and wages. We desperately need to bring that figure down well below £10m. While it is a massive improvement from our all time high of roughly £65m four years ago, it is still far too high given the club’s current financial situation.

 

Getting Souttar, Fatawu, and Faes off the books is exactly how we make that happen. Moving those three on clears a massive chunk of book value  which should bring our annual amortization down to that £10m mark.

Also with his injury record there every chance that he gets hurt again, sadly. Can’t afford that risk.

Number 1 priority should be selling the high earners. Only sell others that want to go like Nelson. Fees for Souttar, Faes, Mavadidi, okoli, Fatawu and Nelson would hopefully mean we can start the reset and build our team around our youngsters.

Sell anyone that's saleable and clear out the failures and start a total rebuild with a new focus.

 

We don't want any off our pressent failures like Hamza , Skip, etc influencing any of the new young players coming into the team. 

 

Let the grow and mature as a new unit without any baggage.

Thank god some good youth is coming through as all our transfer fee signings have been abysmal. I wouldn’t trust them at all to change that model either.

I think he'll be glad to see the back of the place, lots of injuries, overlooked by managers, club 3 relegated in 3 of the 4 season since he's arrival.
