AKCJ Posted 1 September Posted 1 September Why do we need to replace him? It's like being told we can have a million quid but we've turned it down because we've not got a wallet to put it in. Sell him and worry about replacing him after. Won the jackpot by getting interest in him, don't **** it up. 2
Death by Football Posted 1 September Posted 1 September If we keep this up I might actually have something nice to say about the club for the first time in three years.
kingfox Posted 1 September Posted 1 September 3 permanent deals in O’Hora, Lundstram and Riis, two loan spots available to fill a matchday squad. Loan Page back. Loan Skipp out, get Matty James or George Dobson in on loan. Simple. 1
CrazyKopCorner Posted 1 September Posted 1 September Please don't over value him and get him away on a permanent
Gerard Posted 1 September Posted 1 September I said this both about Danny Ward and Oliver Skipp before we signed them that it's good money on proven mediocrity. £30m+ on these pair who were mid 20's, been in the game since children and both had very low ceilings to improve further. This is why the club is where it is, extremely lazy recruitment and due diligence funding Liverpool and Tottenham by spending money on their cast offs that were only valued this high by us, we never had to beat any other clubs off to sign them. All too predictable how they would fair even before we signed them, reaping what we sow from this terribly run club. 3

Not have a loan.

jv1 Posted 1 September Posted 1 September No way Charlton are coughing up his wages - wouldn’t even pay 20% - so guess it depends quite how desperate we are to get 10k a week off the books

Foxmeister Posted 1 September Posted 1 September Will the medical show up that he’s utter horse shit? 2

slymunn Posted 1 September Posted 1 September Just now, jv1 said: Great question but won’t be far off it The players have had a 35-50% pay cut with each relegation, so I dont think he will be on half of that. 1
ARM1968 Posted 1 September Posted 1 September Any team with a functioning scouting team will know this bloke is Sunday League at best. Even then he’s likely to be awarded the pint of piss at the end of the game.
