Mate, this has got to be up there with the worst takes I've ever seen on here.

Thomas wouldn't stand out as anything other than average in a Sunday league team. There were legitimate and serious discussions last season about him being the worst player in the club's post war history.

Additionally, he couldn't look less of a leader of men.

On top of that, several players have suggested in the past he's as thick as pigshit.

Fair Points, Granted he doesn't look like a leader but I very much doubt he's the worst player post war. I can think of quite a few worse than him, who cost a lot more.

I'd give it to Nelson if he's still here but I guess we may well bring in someone with experience who's on the way down, As that seems to be the way we're going.

Hamza is woeful and should be one of the first names out the door.

Wasn’t good enough 7 years ago and never has been.

Will probably still be here tho as he’s probably getting paid 5 x is actual market value at Leicester.

Throw Luke Thomas into this category as well of academy products who have literally never been good enough and been rewarded with unjustifiable contracts.

Hamza won't be looking for a move anytime soon .... got it far to cushy .... been on loan several times with no takers ... more deadwood whose going to run his contract down whilst putting his feet up and laughing all the way to the bank  ..... currently we have nobody anywhere near having the leadership qualities needed to lead the team and have any sort of impact on the pitch ... and we haven't for the past 2 seasons at least

I wouldn't rule out Thomas either.

One of our own amd probably our most experienced player left and a premiership Champion.

I'm thinking the same way you are. If he could come out of his quiet shell we might see qualities hitherto concealed.

One of Nelson or Souttar have to be captain. Theres no one else unless we go and make some leadership signings.

Not sure Nelson would even make the team, terrible last year as were most of them.Need a new signing to be captain

I'd like to see Nelson be rewarded with the captaincy after RM persuades him to sign a new contract. But unfortunately can see it being Vestergaard if he stays or Hamza.

The captain has to be a starter for me and one of our most important players, so that has to rule out Hamza, Thomas et al.

None of last seasons squad aside from on loan JJ showed any signs of leadership or character so for me it has to be a new signing or run the risk of another season of spineless performances and shite attitudes.
