If it wasn't for the debt, you're getting a lot of "Football" for £200m. An elite level training ground, a secondary "Prem worthy" training ground which could easily be sold on or used for something else. Decent sized stadium with approved plans for expansion and land/plans to develop hotels, business and a mini stadium with the right investment. TWO football teams and a women’s team. If someone is willing to come in and get it running right, it could be a snip.

Seagrave alone has a valuation of £100m. The ground, then the old TG. Then playing staff. 

 

The only worrying thing is the debt. If we didnt have that £150m to £200m for us is a steal. 

We wouldn't get anywhere near £100m for it, the cokehead up the road is the only likely avenue to sell and he wouldn't pay anywhere near that amount.

Reference Top, I find it tough to dislike the guy. He's what I would call a "well intentioned idiot" and I mean that with the greatest respect to him. I don't deny that he wants what's best for the club and the city, but he doesn't have the funds or business acumen to deliver. Do I blame him for trying to sell for £200m? No, the family have thrown a huge amount of money into Leicester.. I doubt he will get £200m, but let him try. It is the right time for him to go though, and I'll wish him and his family all the best. It's a shame, he could have got some serious quick wins by just listening to the fans and ditching Rudkin but not to be.

We have the football club that seems to be the joke of most or nearly all other football fans across the country for going Tits up from  English champs to English chumps in 9 years, to be winners of an FA cup for the first time ever to double relegation from Premier  League in & championship then down to Division 1.

We lost a great amazing owner in Vichai who fell in love with this club & community as much as we did but tragically died & left his naive son in charge of his passion & dreams for LCFC who chose to put an absolute inadequate ar5e Rudkin in charge of all Vichai loved but he  completely Fuched it up he made us lose not only money but deducted points along the way for incompetently running our club, now the srivanhanabrabha family have decided enough is enough so they want out so will be making a huge loss on a club that was once touted as a £1b club now expecting at least £140m, all I can say is let’s hope there is a billionaire out there that can see past our present plight of being in Div 1 come in buy us and take up Vichai’s dream to make us a new big 5 in the Premier League am I dreaming maybe but  we can’t be as bad as we are under a new ownership with a passion to rebuild our fortunes and Premier League status !🙏

This is from Sky Sports, I had to re-read it, but how can our finances deem from ruined by some financial experts to such a big claim that we’re almost entirely debt-free?

 

Also, I thought that we had bigger turnouts than 30% of PL clubs, yet we’re smaller than some bigger Championship clubs apparently.

This season there is three grounds larger than ours in the Championship and that includes a club which doesn't sell out every week.

 

Reads like a typical King Power love-in. Grossly misleading, putting the club down and ignoring their failings.

Even if you're not at all precious about our position/stature in English football, this is genuinely pathetic. West Ham aside, who in the championship has got a bigger fanbase than us? Absolutely none of them. Lived in several parts of the country (never near Leicester) and even ignoring the fact that I'm going to be more open to somebody supporting Leicester, I've genuinely met more 'fans' of Leicester than of all the other clubs (excluding WHU) in the championship combined.

 

And then the rest of it; . Even some of the pro KP nonsense from before the penny dropped for most in the media, wasn't as biased or full of crap as that. Madness.

In the last set of account which detailed what was payable and when, we will roughly have 25m left on transfer debt across the board at start of this season. 

 

Unless we have renegotiated with any of the selling clubs.

 

Keeping in mind we have spent nothing on permanent transfers since that set of accounts

With the training ground, 2 football clubs, 2 stadiums, belvoir drive, planning permission, women's team, all if which can be loaded with debt if we get promoted to the premier league plus the premier league money 

 

Some scummer might take a chance on us at c.140-150M.

What will be interesting will be the ‘valuation’ of Leuven in this package, hopefully there is an opportunity this is sold separately and if a decent deal can be secured then it may mean KP can take a reduced value for LCFC

Luxury department store Harvey Nichols has been bought by the owner of Sports Direct, which warned a "significant restructuring" was needed to ensure the 200-year-old business remains sustainable.

Mike Ashley's Frasers Group will take control of the Harvey Nichols stores, including its flagship in Knightsbridge, as well as the international franchise.

The department store was immortalised in BBC sitcom Absolutely Fabulous, but had faced challenges in recent years. The firm had appointed administrators in June.

Michael Murray, Frasers' chief executive and Ashley's son-in-law, called the store a "British institution with significant potential" but added "clear meaningful change is needed".

"The turnaround will require tough choices and we are prepared to make those decisions, even if that means a smaller business in the near term, to create a stronger and more sustainable Harvey Nichols for the long-term," he said.

Harvey Nichols carries more than 800 premium and luxury brands and has over 1,000 employees. Its other stores are located in Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds and Edinburgh.

Frasers Group will also acquire the online business, and shops will continue to operate under their existing licensing.

Maguire took the total amount owed to macquarie ignoring a large part of that is a transfer fee owed to us. 8% on 25m is 2m a year which isn't loads.
