I hope I’m completely wrong but I can’t see Martin going anywhere while this is happening.
Plus the fact that Top’s arrogance wouldn’t yet make him look foolish and wrong.
I know it’s not a new thing with him being wrong.

Is this deadline / ultimatum going to just pass with nothing happening like the 14th September one? Surely the owners can't be holding out for such a high figure given the start we have had....

New owners aren't putting up with RM's performance and football thats for sure.

The current lot will have us passing sideways to the National League so hope you are right.

A deal is all but done? Please tell me who why when and how much it’s fantasy . Nobody wants us

A deal is most likely almost done and that's the real reason Rudkin and McCarron out of nowhere came out for an interview as its an attempt to hold onto their positions

I’d genuinely take Putin being our owner and us being the sports washing arm of a genocidal regime over King Power.

Get the sale done.

Joking aside, I’d buy us for £1m.

We can’t get any worse and I’d be confident I’d at least stop the bloody rot!

"The identity of any serious bidders was unclear on Monday - although one football insider said the deadline had been pushed back to accommodate other parties."

So either we didn't have any serious bidders before, or we did but somebody even more serious has come in late...

Process was always going to be two stages

Initial interested parties with tentiative offers whom then are granted further access to finances. Then a second deadline. The first deadline has more flexibility but the later you join the party the less time to appropriately assess

No bid needed for that. OHL fan here who recently visited an open fan meeting with members of the technical staff and the board, where the flow of the takeover process was explained. Interested parties will be required to sign an NDA, and will after that gain access to an online data room where all of the club details are uploaded to. Including the financial details.

Ive been involved, at a senior level, in a number of commercial aquistions, both from a buyer perspective and seller. This is exactly how 'discovery' is undertaken, per my experience and as far as I am aware that experience was the norm.

no-one knows that detail unless they're part of the bidding party, the club or Citibank, and they'd all be under the tightest NDA possible. what we can tell is that a notorious tight lipped structure (when was the last time Rudkin did any press work) have a reason to deviate from that

Personally think there is zero chance anybody is going submit an offer high enough that the owners are going to accept
