No. because we will have no decent centre backs, no strikers, 1 terrible winger, no proven good full backs and a bunch of.kids....with a manager who can only play one way which got him ran out of scotland, replaced by a middling champ manager who nearly dragged Rangers into the title race.

Go support someone else then mate be less stressful for you. Or maybe give them a chance, the season hasn't actually started yet.

Enjoyable game. Leicester were much the better side in the first half, less so second half after Genoa made player and tactical changes. It’s hard to judge the team until the season starts and perhaps after 10 games.

I’d be v surprised to see many teams press us high come the season.  We may have seen it thru preseason because teams are preparing for their general approach.
Most teams will play a low block and until we get to the real games we won’t be able to judge if we have the capabilities to unlock deep defences. And also how vulnerable we will be on the counter attack.

I haven't even seen the goal but how has Thomas ended up there lol

He moved to centre back when Nelson went off, but mistimed his header and got caught wrong side. Not sure why RM didn't replace Nelson with Kevon Gray as it would have been a like for like swap without disrupting the back line too much.

Martin said “hopefully it isn’t serious” when asked about Nelson’s injury after the game. He also said they’d “see how it reacts”’ over the next few days. These comments suggest a painful knock rather than something more serious, but I guess we won’t know for certain for another day or two…

Albeit if the injury isn't bad I'd say he's likely to go as well.

It happened not too far from where I was sitting. It didn't look like an impact injury, more he fell awkwardly and his knee twisted. I may be wrong, but it's just what I saw.

He went in a bit hasty and slightly mistimed the tackle, taking the ball with his standing leg, twisting his knee. Probably should’ve been a foul against him tbh. He was holding the back of his knee and looked in pain

I'll do as I please, pal. If it's all the same to you. Including accurately describe the current state of our squad which should be better than it is, all things considered...

I actually positively surprised on the current state of the squad considering what we started with.

It's still pretty pointless lamenting the state of the squad before a ball has been kicked and before the end of the window. But yeah do what you want. Moan away.
