Largely been the case for us over the last few years. Lack ability in the air so sign a big centre back who can't play the passing football we've decided we need. Get the ability in the air but realise there's no ability so sign a failed midfielder who's now allegedly a centre back but who can't actually defend. Rinse and repeat.
