Absolutely not. The years of having goal music were awful. It’s not played now and that’s how it should stay.

A bridge was part of the original planning application approval for the Bede island development as was the burying of the pylon cables to remove the pylons but like a lot of developments these days so much of the detail is never enforced. 

 

LCFC we're supposed to run a P&R for fans as part of the stadium build again never happened.

Revamp the Executive structure of the business and put together a team of 6-8 competent people that can deliver on all fronts, and give them the authority to do so. New Ownership will likely just be the financing vehicle, they probably wont be interested in the running of the day to day. This is the single most important thing that needs to happen before we worry about painting seats.

I have wondered if it would be potentially harmful if the club issued a statement about the club being for sale. However, the whole world seem to know about it now anyway, so I'm not sure what harm it would do. It might actually earn them a little bit of goodwill to state that the club is up for sale but they have the club's best interest at heart until the sale has gone through (or words to that effect).

Because to them it’s admitting defeat. This is a regime that has never taken accountability and they won’t start now. 
 

I maintain that despite being in league one if the club was open and transparent with its fans we’d be right behind them. They did the hard part by climbing to the pinnacle of English football but hubris has meant they’ve thrown it away. Quite incredible and sad to be honest.

This is a bit of a stretch to be honest. Some of the vitriol may have softened, but ultimately most football fans want the team to be doing OK on the pitch.

Player ambassador from title winning squad.  

Press conferences or at the very least better communication. 

Stadium expansion to 48k.   (better to do this whilst not in EPL, and sooner the better)

Initiatives to draw people to the club, coach travel, free tickets to womens games etc.
Initiatives, coach tours of seagrave.  

No more dodgy sponsors.  

I consider all this more important than football results at the moment.  Few seasons i league one doesnt bother me if we get a new owner, stop the obsession with slow dull build up play, get motivated young players, with only a few experienced mixed in, and have a more balanced squad, whilst living within our means.

One of the best things Ryan Reynolds’s and Rob did when they bought Wrexham was start off by hosting an online fan forum. They came out were clear about their intentions, were clear about their limitations and what they planned to do to fix them and just generally showed the fans they weren’t just blindly going to hide as investors.

 

it’s the perfect way to start, just show the fans you care what they think and let them get an idea of what you’re trying to do. 
 

im not looking for an open book like the hull owner, just someone who’s clear about what the project is.

I think everything we know has been purposefully leaked by the club. They want people to know we’re for sale because they want to drive interest. But they don’t want to be beggy with it, so it’s easier to let it seem like a press leak rather than them pushing it

Just a tiny thing but I've thought for a while that I'd remove the blue border around the pitch and make it proper green grass again. The blue looks a bit sanitised and too on-brand to me.

 

100% agree about the faded seats. While watching Sunderland 'Til I Die years ago I thought it was emblematic of their plummet through the divisions and I feel exactly the same about ours.

 

I'd like to see proper outreach in the city. I think there's loads of untapped talent. It's been a while since I played but with the past popularity of Goals, St. Margaret's Pastures, etc., I think there's tons of inner city talent that the club could do with finding and nurturing. The adults playing 5 and 6-a-side right now are 99.99% past the point of making it but it shows the interest is there. Finding that talent when they're still at school could be brilliant for the club and the city.

 

Maybe they're already doing something like that but it feels like most of our homegrown talent still comes from the county when there's a ton of kids in the city with potential too.
