Their press loss intensity after about 15 mins, but we don’t really look a threat at all, Alves looks good, but multiple of our crosses have been to Braybrooke, who’s about 4ft3

We’ve had two scissor challenges, Burns booted in the face, and Souttar going over being held on a corner

Regardless we have been absolutely shite. Luke Thomas, I just do not understand how this guy plays professional football. Said it for years. BDCR is not a striker. Team still stinks and it's a repeat from last season. No bite no real threat. All these things are all but whataboutness

As predicted, the new signings look shite and the only ones who look decent are the academy lads (apart from Thomas)

Also I know we all want subs at halftime but managers rarely make sweeping changes at halftime.

(saying this so it happens and proves me wrong)

Still think they will beat us. They look far more threatening, and are working hard. They will score during one of the frenzied periods in the second half. We don’t look remotely like scoring a goal.

Why are we still obsessed with one ****ing forward? Vardys long gone and no one’s going to replace him. Get 2 strikers on and ****ing play some through balls. Phil

Thomas looks crap.

Cullen looks crap

Alves looks great

Braybrook looks great

Skipp meh ok some bad some great

Joseph looked great before red card tackle

Okoli been good

Souttar been good

Burns looks as fast as Ayew

BDCR needs to be subbed off for an actual striker

McCarthy meh looked on at times

Wasn't as bad as I'd expected from us.

We had a decent start, but we are resigned to the occasional counter now.

Probably need someone to help with tackling technique lol

Alves a bright spark in an ordinary first half. BDCR needs to be pulled and get new boy on. Not impressed with Burns or Cullen. Skipp tidy in midfield. Thomas crap even at this level.

I think he needs to be brave and make several changes at HT.

Drop Braybrooke into that deeper midfield role and bring off Skipp for Watson.

Thomas for McFarlane

BDCR for Bristric

Were gonna get smashed here. Be like this every week for physicality and pressure.  Teams just will not let them try and play. We're far too soft.

Honestly expected more, christ knows why.

If the club don't address this striking issue soon they're gonna be heavily punished.

lol. We've dominated the game so I'm not sure you'd have a single player from their side in the best 11, which would immediately discount Skipp from being one of the worst. Then you've got Thomas, BDR, Cullen who've all been awful. Plus Burns basically done nothing (not had the bad), so he definitely hasn't been one of the worst players on the pitch. I'm not even saying he's been great as his touch has been poor but he's seemingly retrieved the ball immediately so not mattered. Would rather Braybrooke was playing that role but I don't let my bias overrule what I'm seeing. He might be crap, but he's still twice the player Hamza is and not a total scumbag.

Obvs he played a shite pass as soon as I posted that lol

Tippy tappy football ! Get caught out around the back, no strike force. What has actually changed ? Worrying

Nothing has changed, too predictable, too fragile in defence, no penetration

Alves, Braybrooke and Joseph upstaging all the so called established and experienced players

About as expected. New style, new players, team that's been relegated in back to back seasons against a team on a high from promotion at home with a full stadium. They started quickly as expected and we were lucky not to go behind. Mostly controlled the game since without looking overly dangerous. It'll take a little while for it all to gel and I don't think we'll start battering teams for a good couple of months.

On a side note, Bristric and McFarlane have to get up to speed QUICKLY as both Reid and Thomas are absolutely pathetic. We also need a couple of new centre backs who are vastly more comfortable on the ball than Okoli and Souttar, which shouldn't be difficult to accomplish.

Totally agree. Skipp has done ok. The sheep on here havnt a clue what they are on about

Dodgy start but grown into the game, but we going to concede goals this season from our indecision playing out from defence with Okoli, Skipp and Thomas
