It looks unlikely he is shifting today. Fingers crossed something happens in next few days. 

 

Who would have thought such a brilliant player and all round good egg would be so difficult to move on!

Exactly my thinking if the signing of O’Hora is confirmed. Pointless paying him for the year, might as well bite the bullet and pay him off. I expect it won’t happen until the Turkish and Saudi deadlines pass.

Probably not. They made that one good decision rejecting Manchester United when they came sniffing after Page. That's their allocation for the year all used up. Incompetence has resumed, and Faes staying is proof enough.

Will be brave and great of RM to not start him or Okoli. On paper they should be much better than they actually are. Leicester fans know how bad they are, even at this level, so I hope RM sees it too. 

Still a glimmer of hope that one or both go to a Turkish or Saudi club.

If he doesn't go to Turkey, I think he'll accept a contract settlement and become a free agent to find another club.

He had to be a free agent by last night’s deadline, so will need to find a loan / permanent transfer to a club in a league where the window is still open, there are a few.

Shit, I see he still has options to the Dutch, Belgium, Scottish, US, Portuguese, Saudi and Turkish leagues. 

 

He's not playing again for us in a league game. There's still hope we get rid.

I wouldn’t take note of much on x 

 

even a reliable Belgian journo didn’t end up being right yesterday 

 

if he doesn’t get a move to turkey or Saudi then he’s stuck in limbo till january and we’re paying for it. 

 

unless of course he terminated yesterday evening and we haven’t heard about it. If the club thought he was off to West Ham then doubtful they would have a back up plan - will be working overtime to get a club in turkey lined up now. 
 

EDIT: there’s actually quite a few options still out there for a few days so no need to panic just yet.

They know how shit he is in Belgium and Holland, so dont expect anything there.
